Replica Jubilee Cake 2024?

Due to a personal issue, I completely missed the Jubilee event last year, 2024. I always get the replica Jubilee cake for each year. All the cakes are available at the Impressario...except for 2024. I am super sad. Is this an oversight?

PS am on Xbox NA server.
Ebonheart Pact, Nord Templar/healer on NA Xbox server. My main toon WAS a tall and foxy redhead - now she has been gamma-irradiated and has green skin and black hair. 3 other characters I only use for writs. Can't be bothered to create multiple toons - EXCEPT now my WW is getting spooled up for Cyrodiil - Blood For The Pact! IRL cranky sometimes redhead chick at large in Las Vegas, NV

You can only buy cakes for which you have the memento. If you never got the memento for a year, you will also not be able to get the associated furnishing from the Impresario

What tomofhyrule said. I am in the same boat - believe it was 2017. I certainly played ESO that whole year save for during Anniversary Jubilee. It remains the only cake I am missing, which is rather vexing but that is how it's coded. If you didn't acquire the cake momento then, you don't get an opportunity to buy any furnishing replicas of that year's cake, which is quite sad.

I missed the Anniversary event of 2023 and unfortunately the cake design of that year is one of my favourites, and I'll never be able to have the furnishing for it :'(

I was on hiatus the first couple Jubilees, and missed the more normal looking classic cakes from those years. I'm not even sure the cakes were offered as furnishings back then - I think they were just the Jubilee Event XP mementos, which is part of why I didn't bother at the time.

And now every year they release some monstrosity horror-cake with demons or skeletons on it, dripping with "blood", etc and I'm just like... :|

Being locked out of rewards that I don't think were even offered at the time feels extra cruddy. It doesn't feel especially fair.

I get that they want to reward participation from that time. I'd pay a premium of up to 10 tickets for Event Cake Furnishings from years I missed (as an example solution), putting it on par with a fancy event fragment. Paying over triple the standard price seems like a fair trade off (to me, anyway).

Please let me buy the regular looking cakes someday. Or at least give it a rest with the spooky Halloween cakes. I was so hopeful this year, until I saw it up close. Skeletons. Great. Ugh.

I like the Argonian stonework stand and plates I guess...? :/

You can try to disguise or cover up the topper with something less obnoxious. Here a bunch of grapes, relatively cheap to craft, and I've tried a sweetroll ( we were given 10 recently).

I like the grapes. It takes an extra slot of course, but we have plenty right?

As an aside, I think they should also simply add a good number of varied normal cake furnishings to the game not related to any event just for decorating purposes. They don’t have to be all glowy or anything like the anniversary cakes, just something for decorators to use in various projects.

If you weren't there for the event, you shouldn't get those rewards. The cake furnishings didn't come out until a few years later, but were unlocked for those who participated in the prior events/who had the memento. How is that unfair?

Yes, I'm fully aware there's a dedicated contingent of players who feel that logging in several years ago to click a button in a video game is an accomplishment that should be memorialized forever with exclusivity.

I don't agree with that mentality, and find it very tiresome. I've been playing this game for 11 years. I have lots of "exclusives". It wouldn't hurt me at all if other people, newer people, people who took breaks, etc, got access to them in some way.

If your enjoyment of things is tied to other people not having them, that sounds depressing as dirt.

If you're so upset about not getting an item because you didn't click on a button years ago why is it such an issue that some things remain exclusive to those that were there to click those buttons?

Nobody is getting off on people NOT having special rewards, stop twisting it that way, we just don't think you deserve something just because you are playing now-THAT is an extremely tiresome ideology. I wasn't here for the beta, I didn't get the monkey or the tiger, I'd like to have them, but I don't deserve them. For many that is a special exclusive reward and should remain as such.

I wish they let us buy the cakes for any year after our account existed. Still technically a customer at the time though we just missed the event.

The furnishing cakes weren't offered at that time. And I agree with you that it's unfair they made them require an achievement retroactively that couldn't be completed anymore. I hope they do something fair for you.

Agreed. I had to deal with a home fire and was without a PC during the 2020 anniversary event, so now I will never be able to get the 2020 cake? :s

There are other circumstances besides "I just didn't want to do it". I have all the others, and would have done it if I could!

IMO they should make the mementos required to acquire the replica cakes part of the 'bags of yesteryear'.

Giving us a way to unlock past mementos would be great. They could also sell fragments for a base Anniversary cake morph that unlocks all the years that you missed.

I'm sure new players would appreciate it too. Imagine if you only started playing in 2024 and all you were able to furnish your home with is pole-dancing Molag and that skull thing we have this year.

    This.

I'm sorry, but there's no way to make it up. Some may find it controversial, but I think having some things locked to participating during particular years or events is a good thing.

I see some on a striped senche mount and am told it was given to players who played during the first year this game came out. No other way to get it has been provided. I think it is a cool mount and would use it if I had it, but I think it is cool that those players have something special and I appreciate that and things like that in a game.
