Event tickets need some consistency

The way event tickets are earned needs to be consistent throughout all events, as well as with completing endeavors. But the way it is now it's not always done the same way.

Sometimes events give 2 tickets, and other times they give 3.

Sometimes we can turn in an event quest and get credit for having earned an event ticket even if we have 12/12. Other times it doesn't count unless we had less than 12.

Sometimes we can have 11 tickets and the event quest will bring that up to 12, but other times we won't earn any tickets at all unless we need the full 2 or 3 tickets that the event earns.

Please make earning tickets and having them count for endeavors work the same for all events.

I'm more concerned about mishmash of items that those tickets are used for. Totally clueless which item to buy first. Indriks were much more straightforward and hard to miss.

I don't get the 'everything should be the absolute same everytime everywhere' trend. I really don't. I like diversity, I like variety, and really what if one event reward 2 ticket per day, another one 3 ? What if one event reward tickets for eating a slice of cake, another one for defeating some dungeon boss, another one for compleating quests in two different areas like Mayhem ?

Really I don't mind the discrepancy in the number of tickets rewarded, I never feel that it was an hindrance in buying stuff from the event associated; as for buying other stuff, indrik and older reward, sure getting more tickets is alway better, but then why only 3 per day, why not 5, or 10 ? It would be better, right ?

As long as the events are nicely spread around the year and the number of tickets are too, I'm entirely fine with them being 2 or 3 per day, it's in no way a problem. Consistency for the sack of consistency is not an argument in my view, and it would quickly lead the game to being just a boring 'do the same things for the same results in slightly different ways'. Before you get rid of the slightly different ways, because, hey, consistency.

Maybe the way tickets earned count for endeavours is a real problem, though, I trust your word on it. But other than that ? I don't think so.

What bothers me is that if you have say, 11 tickets and you do a quest to get the 1 you need, and that quest is worth 2 tickets, you can't pick them up because you don't have room. It won't let you just grab 1 ticket instead of 2.

This is my biggest complaint about it.

Yep. That just gives me a headache.
One of the reasons why I haven't taken part in the last several events.

Well, I did the curated fishing thing, but there were no tickets for fishing during that event, if I recall correctly.
I just took advantage of the curated rare fish so that I could finish the last handful of zones I needed to finish ALL the zones.

The reason that anniversary event gets 3 tickets is that in the normal schedule of events it counts as two most times.

As for how you redeem them, as long as the instructions are clear it's fine too. Diversity in events is fine.

As for when limits are reached and endeavors... ya that should be consistent for all events.

Regarding events in general.... can we just mass increase ticket limits? Doing so would solve a Lot of problems with events as a whole. Because honestly 12 is not a good number, and too low.

Increasing the extremely low ticket cap of 12 would be very good for the game.

I disagree. THe game needs players participating in a variety of activities. These events help in that regard. If we could horde event tickets there would be less incentive to participate in all events.

I'd like the 'method to earn' to be clearly pointed out.

I read through the Event's "blog" page, and didn't see any mention of how to get the Tickets. Saw the mention about XP buff and was like, "oh ya, gotta eat the cake". - I did skim it. But that's not a reason to be like "oh see, they shouldn't be required to put the method to earn in the first paragraph".

      SURPRISE! I looted 3 tickets.

You still need to participate in an event to get the tickets (or Whale your way through it).

30 should be the cap, bare minimum. Because that seems to be the amount for most of the 'combine these 3 fragments'-items.
You have to learn the rules of the game. And then you have to play better than anyone else.

      Hard no.

Players should be able to play the game how they enjoy.

I also see no relation between a ticket cap and event participation. Whether or not players participate in an event has to do with the available rewards, and if they have the time to play.
