XBox One / PS4 (testing/digital)

I decided to purchase the PC version of the game and have enjoyed this since BETA but I'm curious to know the testing, beta or digital opportunities over the next 60 days.

June is right around the corner, and assuming this will launch sooner rather than later, I would like to know if there is additional info you can point to?

-If there will be a beta for Xbox One?
-Is the focus to have beta weekends prior to June or will the beta consist of a 5 - 10 day access prior to release?
-We understand we can buy the digital game from the Xbox One Store but do you plan on offering purchase through your website for a digital code so that we can pre-order the digital game?
-Do you have any details on the collectors edition(s) / digital editions?
-What in-game bonuses, if any, will be available depending on what we purchase?


*There has been no additional information for months and so now that we have PC launch, many of your existing customers want to know and plan to support you on the consoles.

It's just that we literally have no clue at this point. They have said nothing about console except that we should hear some news soon.

All I know is I have my imperial edition preordered on ps4 but I couldn't wait ans was sick of no news so I got it on pc to hold me over until it's out on ps4 lol.

No, it's just that not many who post here are actually waiting for the console versions and think those who are are strange alien beings. I've asked the question myself more than once both here and on the Xbox forums but nobody seems to know much of anything. I don't like to game on my computer so I'm waiting more and more impatiently but I'm not holding my breath because I would turn blue and die.

I have the Imperial Edition for Xbox pre-ordered and it has all the same bonuses and perks as the PC editions except early access. It is sold out on Amazon though for both consoles.

Thanks for the replies...It would seem that there would be BETA actions seeing that there are PC issues.
I assume the company would try and prevent the same out break of issues on consoles or further delay the project and let us all know

I suspect a friend of mine at work said it best: "There probably aren't any console betas going on because ESO isn't running right on console yet." In which case, they should push the console release dates back.

I sure hope they aren't just going to dump publicly untested console versions of ESO onto an unsuspecting console gaming public at early start!

I have been fearing that was the case even as I hoped they were just bogged down with getting the PC version running correctly. That there has been no notice of a beta nor a real release date leaves me hanging.

There will be a beta for consoles, we just don't know when. They're likely working on porting over all the recent hotfixes they've made the last few weeks to the console versions. After this is done, betas will probably begin. Luckily porting to a console is not as difficult as it used to be. So the testing done on PC actually will have a great effect on the state of the console release. I expect it will have far fewer bugs whenever the beta does finally begin.

The fact that they open beta sign up back up tells me something is around the corner. It was closed down for a while.

They did say somewhere near june/july so we could be weeks from the game or we could be 3 months so we wont know. Now with the beta test for consel i did get an email when the game lonched for PC and they said all beta testers and eta tester applicnts will be sent an email eather asking them if they wanted to beta test or another websight to sign up agen for beta testing. This information is old so i dont know if they have changed it or not but i am just as conserned as all of you.

I also want to know, i already paying $14.99 a month, will have to pay dubble to be able to play on consel as well or will they let me use my PC account just with differint saves

You will have to pay two subs if you choose to play on both platforms. The new offer allows you to migrate your character(s) from PC to the console, seemingly this is a one time one way offer.

There isn't much detail to how this works and if you can transfer one character or if the transfer if for the entire account but you would be expected to pay both for PC and console if you choose to play on both platforms at the same time.

I'm sure we all saw the announcement that the game is being delayed for another 6 months or more for console releases.

My thoughts are that we may see some form of a BETA this summer and at least they realized that the game is not ready for launch as the PC version has drastically improved since April 4 but there is a lot of work needed to release on consoles.

Typically the console audience has less tweaking options so if things don't work people expect instant refunds

I'm ultimately happy that I can now play a little longer on PC and keep my progress. I'm also a digital only person for PC and console so $20 looks good + another free 30 days
