Shameless Appeal for some customer support intervention

My husband has been trying to become qualified to gift crowns now for about 7 mos. Each time he is denied. He has appealed repeatedly, asked for someone in management to review the case and allow the gifting, only to be told "just play the game." Well, he's been doing that.. for 7 mos. Let me explain the situation:

He created his acct in Dec 2020. He played it for a couple years, off and on, sometimes a lot, sometimes not. About a 1.5 or 2 years ago he stopped playing completely. Moved on to bigger and better. He didn't, however, stop his ESO+ account. You guys happily took his money each month, knowing he was not playing. Naturally, his acct accumulated crowns. He now has over 34000 crowns (some purchased, some from the sub). About 7 mos ago, I realized he had all these crowns, wasn't playing, but was still paying. We stopped the latter, and I tried to get him to gift stuff to me, since he has no interest in playing ESO anymore. He was not allowed to.

Since then, he has logged in as often as possible--he won't reload it on his computer, so he has to use mine, I play ESO a lot, or am doing other things, so it's limited. Also, he travels a lot, so his availability to "play" ESO is random and not for long times. Even so, he has done his best. He's created like, three or four toons, got them to 50 or close to it. He logs in as often as he can, spends 30-60 mins, doing whatever, sometimes more. He rejoined the guild we were in, that I am still in. And still.... the answer is no.

WHAT MORE DOES HE NEED TO DO???? Is 7 months of this not enough? How long are we going to have to dance this ridiculous dance til he can finally just gift me 34k worth of whatever and be done with it? Do you REALLY think, at this point, we are trying to scam the crown store? or whatever it is you are so concerned about? That's quite a commitment on our part to a scam, if so. I mean, these are crowns we PAID for. We own them.

We have tried to do this your way, it's very clear at this point you have no intention of ever giving him the tag. I Don't know why. I don't even really care at this point. I just want someone willing to listen to reason, see it from OUR point of view, to read this, say, yeah, this is getting a little silly, and just... let ..... it .... happen.

Thank you for your consideration.

The moment he quits paying, the guys in charge will notice something unusual and read your pleas. They might even send him an email telling they are sorry for seeing him go and what they could do to convince him to return for more wonderful adventures. Disney and Blizzard does that.

Since you play everyday you can log onto your hubby's account every day and do writs, pick up the daily rewards, maybe feed a mount or two then log off. After a month of logging in daily, send in another request. If they say no, then do it for another month, and send in another request. Then keep doing that and sending in a crown gifting request every month until the account gets approved. If you have to send his account the needed materials then the account will have the needed mats to do writs.

Technically people aren't supposed to log into the accounts of others, but we are talking about a relative that uses the same computer you use for logging in. So just make it so his account is active for however long it takes. As soon as they finally approve the account for gifting, gift the crowns or whatever you want to do with them. Just don't ever sub again.

That's not how customer service works with Zenimax.

@tauriel01 Do you have any of the ticket numbers from applying through the gifting process? If so, if you can provide the number, we can check in with the team to see what is going on here.

The most recent one was 250331-003942
Probably the first one was 8 Aug 2024 240708-005496

There were almost 20 requests in between those, all the same robo canned response. It did include some notable interactions:
    240809-003799 the first appeal
240905-001414 another appeal, but after some back and forth, this one included a very thinly veiled threat that indicated if ZOS believed my husband and I were sharing an acct, negative action would be taken against us. Not cool ZOS....
    250381-00529 another appeal

Thank you for looking into it.

@ZOS_Kevin any response from the support team? My husband's latest request to allow gifting was denied. Of course. So we go another round with support :/

My understanding in chatting with some folks reviewing the ticket yesterday is they should be reaching back out to your husband for additional information. I will ask them again today when they plan on doing that.
