Why is my Download so slow?

Why is my download so slow? Its at 925/kbs, at this rate, it'll take 36 hours to download. The rest of my Internet is fine, it's just the ESO patch that is progressing at a snails pace.

I would assume that's it's due to the high amount of people downloading the game right now. But check your firewall settings etc just in case and if you have technical issues your best bet would be the technical support forum here:

Volume of traffic, I actually got put into a queue when trying to activate my game on the ESO site.
Let it run, play/do something else or wait until later and download it once the traffic subsides.

Yeh high amount of traffic, not only with people just now getting the game but half of the people with the beta client got screwed when the new launcher deleted all of the gamefiles, so they have to re-dl it as well.

Ya, that kinda sucks lol, Lucky, Thursday's my busy day, so I've been otherwise occupied. even still, Started at about 1:30-2:00pm, it's now 1:10 AM at only 67% Bwahahahahhaha.

Yah, they probably have like 2 million people trying to connect. Even if they have a ridiculous amount of bandwidth potential, there's the matter of ISP bandwidth. Small ISPs receiving a large amount of regional traffic can slow you down before you even get to your endpoint.

Makes an Anonymous DDoS look like a ping. ^_^

Phew didn't know this happened. Guess I'm one of the lucky ones
