From this forum here and in the zone during the test, I see and saw occasional questers enjoying themselves, people who don’t usually pvp etc. saying it was great. What I saw and heard from pvp guilds and regular players was that most of the reasons they play had been stripped away. Just because things are more awkward, or a player doesn’t like getting killed so felt safe in a massive zerg - what was coming up in the zone when i was playing - doesn’t mean the rest of us should lose the structures we play for.

Yes the lag was lessened, but some of us still got stuck in combat. The actual gameplay was at times utterly pointless, many of the regular pvpers actively avoided the test - and if things are simplified to accommodate those who want to go into cyrodiil but not learn how things are, you’ll lose a significant percentage of the pvp community - and those pve-focused players will not fill the gaps.

I don’t really like trials because I don’t want to be stuck having to learn mechanics and do the same process every time I run it, or spend hours getting decent trials gear - but as a player I don’t expect trials to be made to run like Fungal Grotto I just so I can get achievements - and *that* was what a lot of complaints about cyrodiil cycle round from non pvpers - they are not interested in the playability, the lag, the lack of skill while running in some massive zerg ,or otherwise, they just want not to have to be prepared to be killed by another player while getting A or B achievements. Personally I am comfortable knowing that I won’t get some achievements.

There are players the pvp community that I’ve talked who are now concerned - especially after what was said on Twitch. Yes, improve the playability but not at the expense of skills, experience, and available gear - otherwise what’s the use of literally 95% of the game to those who want to pvp
