best reshade for ESO working in U45?

Is Reshade safe to use? I looked this up before and it seemed to be a topic of debate, but I would love to use one if it's not putting my account at risk.

Reshade is a program that can add post-processing filters to games, it can let you tailor some elements of the display like colour balance/grading, sharpness etc to your own taste. When people say "A reshade" what they generally mean is a set of preset filters and settings.

Usually when it detects a game is online it cuts access to the depth buffer (which is a common thing aimbots access) so that it doesn't ping anti-cheat systems. It might not be perfect though. Any overlay or wrapper is always going to come with the risk of anti-cheat systems having a go at it.

Using reshade is probably fine, few of my friends been using it for years now. But don't use the one with full addon support in multiplayer games. It'll even warn you not to do so if you try to install that version.

As for making the 'graphics better' it can offer some advanced control over how the game looks, and improve some things in a measurable way, but art-style is art-style. But people make 'presets' that basically just tweak a bunch of sliders to change how the game looks, more saturation, vibrance, aliasing, depth of field, kind of things.

Can be fun to try, usually performance impact isn't too great either, but it does have one. Especially with some of the more demanding options.

Nvidia cards owners can also just press Alt+F3 (default bind) and mess around with some settings that reshade also offers but without having to really install anything.

I don’t recall if ZOS officially commented on Reshade, which from what I understand does not modify files in the same way as Daybreak. There was some discussion here about it: https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/606682/is-reshade-ok-to-use

I've been using SweetFX pretty much from the start of the game. Not sure now where I got it or what version I use. I just make sure to transfer the files to the correct folders when I upgrade computers so I can keep the same look.

There is several threads on how to find and use SweetFX in these forums, not sure if still available but I like it.

Nvidia has a built in reshade, I think it is called Freestyle. The new app also fixed having to reconfigure your settings every driver update ( that was super annoying).

This surely change as it doesn't work like that nowadays.

I mean the part where the CS Agent says: "Any software that you use without it influencing other players is okay."

I'm sure there are a lof of programs and software that can get you banned even if they don't influence other players.
