BG Queue time: when to leave queue and rejoin?

As an AU prime time player it's not uncommon for my queue times to get as high as 20 minutes without the queue popping. Last night my queue kept getting to 8, 9, 10 minutes and out of frustration I left queue and re-joined queue. Now, I don't know if this was a pure coincidence or if there is some sort of bug that leads to longer queue times - but the 3 times I did this the queue popped within 30 seconds of leaving and requeuing.
If you are someone that leaves and re-queues, on average how long do you wait before trying to leave queue and re-queue?

Chrisilis✭✭✭I give it about 15 minutes, the length of an entire game before I get fed up and re-queue. I find it usually pops shortly after the 15 minute mark but Ive had it take as long as 30 minutes those times I decided to let it ride. The trick is to go AFK. The minute you take your eyes off the screen and leave the room and start doing something else Ready Check will pop. Hope this helps!2
