Is there such a thing of a resto staff spammable?

Kind of. Sometimes combat prayer is used as a spammable and radiating regeneration one could argue is a semi-spammable with how often you have to cast it.

For damage? There isn't one. The most you can hope for out of a resto staff in terms of damage is a heavy attack to replenish resources, but since sustain is no longer an issue in this game, there is no reason to attack with a resto staff

The best you can hope for is a proc set that triggers of light attacks and your light attacks become your spammable. Think sets like relequin or threads of war (craftable) which would proc overcharged with every light attack.

People usually prefer a lightning staff for heavy attack damage builds, due to the AOE splash damage those staves create. However it's perfectly viable, albeit not meta, to make a resto staff heavy attack build using the same specialised armor sets and the Empower passive. This does almost the same single target damage, last I checked, and it buffs the crap out the resto staff passive that heals someone at the end of the heavy attack. If you don't need AOE damage, or you find some other way to generate that, there actually is a point to this. Got the idea from another forum member a while back, who I believe used this for off healing in dungeons.

Agree with @fred4. Resto heavies vs destro heavies trade AoE for healing an ally. Those resto heavy attacks do a nice job of keeping a tank companion healthy when running solo.

My templar is an oakenhealer so her heavies hit hard anyway.

I would prefer to have a Resto staff DoT that triggers your enchantment.

Force Siphon is the least used skill that could use a rework, so that's the skill I would consider reworking into something new regardless.

Speaking of, what's the best enchant for resto staff anyway? Is it still mana drain one that deals a bit of damage and leeches some mana?

    If I'm correct, it's berserker.

Restoration heavy attacks are what revived my "MagCro" some time ago.
I struggled to find an enjoyable playstyle for her until I discovered just how hard a resto heavy can hit and how much it can heal respectively.

When you say how hard it hits, it does less as much damage as destro staves?
I totally get the resource regen part.
