I updated Steam the same night as Update 45 was patched in, and now I have to work around a gamepad keyboard that didn't used to be there. It's pretty inconvenient, and I'd like to disable it, so I can have it the way it was.
I can kind of disable it by going to
[Steam] ->
[Settings] ->
[In Game] ->
[Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game] and disabling it, but that comes with a few quirks as well (e.g. needing to click on text boxes twice (not once), hearing Steam audio in-game when pressing buttons, and not being able to take screenshots with F12 as I did before.
What's the best way to disable Steam's gamepad keyboard in-game? I just want the game to work the way it used to for me.
