Hey All,

Any good memes or discussion topics?
Way better than whinging about the duration of maintenance lol.

Heres a quick one from me:

QOL asks:

- allow sitting and eating meal
- allow walking your horse/mount

Seriously though, I would love to be able to walk my horse... Don't really have a compelling reason why, but I've always thought it would be cool to have my mount following me around like a lil pet when I'm not on it.

Edit: It'd even be kinda cool if they could replace your companion, kinda like FF14's thing with the chocobo being a summonable combat companion.

Asking as I can't find anything on the forums about this maintenance being planned but I might have missed something.

Also is it now weekly maintenance, as we just had the servers down on Wed last week?

Well, they announced in January that U45 would release for PC on 10 March...

Well, they announced in January that U45 would release for PC on 10 March...

Yes well, I guess I don't keep announcements from months ago stored in my head. Also the banner says "maintenance" not "update 45" and there is nothing about in on these forums, so it could have been better announced.

I mean, judging from the overwhelming reaction from my guildmates, Shara was not the only one confused. More specificity in the maintenance announcement would probably have been helpful in this case, imo. Not saying it's a huge deal or anyone should be in trouble or anything, just that it clearly wasn't communicated well to a pretty decent number of players (at least in my acquaintance). Of course, there are always going to be people confused, but in this case I don't think it was entirely unreasonable.

The main heading says "maintenance" then yes, underneath it says "patch maintenance". However an update is not the same as a patch, a patch being a more minor and focused fix or improvement to a set problem or issue and an update being a much more significant change to a range of issues, improvement of existing content or the addition of new content.

So an update is not a patch and it's still been poorly announced (on these forums) imo.

Either way I will be looking forward to the upgrades in this latest "update". In particular the QOL changes to the green CP tree and the base game graphic changes to the starter zones. Might have to go do some resource gathering, or perhaps a bit of fishing and enjoy the new improved scenery.

It's always labeled an update as 'patch maintenance', the difference is that it's announced on livestreams, spcial media, etc. as being an update.

Yes, 2 dungeons: Lep Seclusa and Exiled Redoubt. Some map changes and stuff. Not sure about everything, but it should all be in the patch notes I posted a few posts up

Prologue quests will be available at a later date, as it has been in the past.

You have filters menu in the right side of the screen, enable houses or else there
