[Crafting] Inquiry About Cost Effective Methods to Aquire Attunable Furnishing Tables

I’ve just started getting these and feeding them into the Grandmaster Crafting Tables myself, and I’ve been able to get 48/80 sets complete with the number of writ vouchers that I had earned so far. I am considering how to proceed, knowing that I will be able to earn writ vouchers at a fairly slow rate with the 8 crafters I have doing daily writs.

I know the tables can be bought with gold, but that is a very expensive way to go. I have saved up a few dozen or more purple and gold jewelry master writs, and it seems the ones with the most vouchers are triune or bloodthirsty. I have a decent stockpile of purple and gold improvement mats for jewelry, and a lot of bloodthirsty trait stones, but would have to buy triune mats with either gold or some AP. I could also buy high voucher master writs for clothing, blacksmithing, or woodworking, but that can get expensive too. For those of you who have gotten your Grandmaster tables done, what do you consider is the most cost effective method to get them, short of taking a long time just to earn master writs on your own? Do you consider doing purple or gold jewelry writs to be worth the cost in mats if you already have them, for example.

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Personally I consider jewelry master writs to be an effective way of earning writ vouchers.

I have a few rules I have set for myself....

1:- I don't even consider doing "infused" writs neither gold nor purple
2:- I try to build up a stockpile of dawn prism during PVP events as the price drops then.
3:- I don't do Arcane, Healthy or Robust traited writs as I consider the voucher numbers to be too low.
4:- I am happy to buy guilding wax with vouchers to complete Swift traited writs, it's so few vouchers in cost I feel the trade off is worth it.
5:- I tend to only do gold writs with over 110 vouchers, the cost per voucher looks better then. Similarly I set a 30 voucher minimum for purple writs.

ALL of my crafter's over 3 accounts have jewelry at 5/5 and all traits researched, I get inundated with master writs this way, those I don't do I sell, even the infused ones sell during double xp events.

The only other master writs I even consider outside of jewelry are blacksmith ones, cloth, the wax is still too expensive and woodwork the voucher numbers are low and even though rosin is dirt cheap I struggle to keep my mastic stocks up due to all the furniture I craft!

If in pursuit of vouchers, I don't even consider alchemy, provisioning or enchanting, again too few vouchers, I sell those during double xp events too.

Edit :- Also with multiple jewelry crafter's I get plenty of surveys and never need to buy mats, infact I often sell chromium and zircon platings for quick gold!

Very informative and detailed post. I follow some of these rules of yours but since I have much fewer crafters than you, I probably can’t be as picky.

I am currently doing jewelry writs on 5/8 characters but I can increase that since you feel it is a good investment. I have been selling all the arcane, robust, and healthy ones just like you but keeping the rest. I haven’t done any of the others yet as I was hesitant to touch my stockpile of purple and gold mats, but I can start doing them and see how long it lasts.

I have been doing gold writs for blacksmithing, clothing, and woodworking since they have higher writ vouchers and I have a good stockpile of gold mats for those, though I have fewer rosin than the others. I will also do nirnhoned purple writs if the number of vouchers is high, since I have quite a few nirnhoned mats, especially fortified.

I do alchemy, enchanting, and provisioning writs mainly just for XP purposes and because I get a fair number of them and I don’t have the capacity to store them for XP events. I choose the ones with more common ingredients to do and sell the ones with mudcrab chitin, violet coprinus, and torch bug thorax.

I guess my goal is to use the mats I currently have on hand but not completely deplete my stockpile, it may mean I do master writs that you feel are too expensive but since it costs me nothing in gold I am willing to do so. I just know I will get to a point where I don’t want to deplete those any further and am looking to possibly spend some gold to keep going. I am not sure where to invest that gold to keep going. I guess it is too early to worry bout that yet.

Thanks so much for your reply.
