Are there just no potions that provide Stamina regen?

You can purchase Essence of Stamina potions from any normal <Merchant> NPC, and can craft numerous variations of potions that restore stamina & increase stamina recovery rate, among other effects based on the other reagents present.

Dragonthorn, Columbine, Mountain Flower, Blessed Thistle, and Dragon Blood are all reagents that should help you get started at the alchemy table.

Any potion that restores stamina also gives stamina recovery.

On a different note, it's pretty ridiculous that there's so many alchemy ingredients in game with sometimes 5 different methods to create the same potion, but there is currently no combination to make a Bi-Stat potion that restores only magicka and stamina. Tri-Stat potions are getting cheaper now that columbines are 1/4 of the price from last year, but it still feels like a waste of a Tri-Stat when I only need stamina and magicka recovery without any health.

There are bi-stat potions. It's just that the expensive part is what gives you mag and stamina so why not add the health in while you are at it?

I'm unhappy that there's no way to get health+stam+weapon damage or health+mag+spell damage. Or HoT+anything useful (stam, mag, crit, power, unstoppable, detection, etc.).

We have so many reagents; it's wild that so many combinations just can't be done while others have 30 different recipes for the same thing.

With all due respect, you've been playing TESO since 2018, you have 2,621 posts in the forums (that's a looot of posts, maybe more posts than 95% of TESO players) and you don't know such a basic thing?

Right from day 1 playing the game gives you basic stamina pots that give you staming recovery. Every single stam pot gives you stam regen.

Your words: "There are many pots that... provide magicka or health regen but none that add stamina regen."

Really? Do you have a bug that you never saw a basic stam pot in 7 years?

With all due respect again, something doesn't add up here.

Phrasing is the issue. I meant are there no stam regen for higher level level type potions like immobility pots, not in general. The essence of health etc is not bad but looking for something to use in PVP that has other benefits than those with stam regen. My current build is a stamina hog and I tend to use a lot of invis and detection potions.

Thank you, that was kind of you to post. I do know about the restore stamina ones, I was looking for more of a stamina regen potion, since there are majika regens. The reason being is let's say you get 9000 stamina restored and you burn through that in a few seconds versus a stamina regen which gives you more than 9000 stamina but spread out over time.

It's not a huge issue but I find myself needing them as a stam/blade once in a while.

I understand what you're asking for. You're looking for a Stamina version of a Heal over Time. But I'm not aware of there being a Magicka version of what you're asking for either. I know there is one for health, as it grants Lingering Health. Unless I missed the obvious, I don't think I've ever seen anything remotely like that for magicka.

All potions with Restore Stamina effect give you a flat burst of stamina, plus a lingering increase to your Stamina Regen. Assuming all alchemy passives, you'll get 30% increased stamina regen for 47 seconds. So if your stamina regen is 1000, it will go up to 1300 for 47 seconds, giving you roughly 7000 extra stamina over course of potion (300 every 2 seconds).

Magicka potions work the same way. A burst of resource, and then a percentage increase to base regen for duration of potion.

If you are wanting a stamina over time potion, like the healing over time (lingering health) potions, they don't exist (and as far as I am aware, there's no magicka version either).

The ones that restore a flat amount of stamina (or magicka) do give you the named buff "major endurance" (or "major intellect" for mag pots) increasing your stamina (or magicka) recovery by 30%.

The only "over time" effects for magicka (or stamina) that I have seen are on poisons, but those tend to last only a couple of seconds at most.

Here's a link to the UESP wiki for alchemy ingredients, nothing there shows a lingering stamina (or lingering magicka) effect.

Hmm I've not checked that, I'll check it tonight.

Thanks everyone I really appreciate the input. Since the change to NB cloak I had to put a little into magika regen which took some off the top of my sustain for stamina. I'm doing fine with the change but never hurts to optimize when you can.

Here's a screenshot (in-game) of the crown tri-stat potions (NOTE: this was taken in cyrodiil at a keep, hence why the heal is higher than normal)

    oxgn8jqchcn9.png

Here's a screenshot of the crafted tri-stat potions that are made from Bugloss + Columbine + Mountain Flower that give the same effects.

    ii9nmw8y4khd.png

Any potion that has a "Restore Magicka" effect will grant Major intellect (+30% mag recovery) and any potion that has a "Restore Stamina" effect will grant Major Endurance (+30% stam recovery), including the single stat pots that drop from mobs.
