nothing by desynchs and screen locking and buttons not responding and booted from server on last boss unable to collect boons or skill point for doing shipwrights regret.

purely abysmal server performance. better to take it down and do some more 7 hr maintenance and fix it right this time please and thank you.

and i didnt get my rN daily bonus either. so now i have to do another dungeon. thanks for wasting my time i guess.

It is partially the servers, as I got disconnected too. But it seems to have cleared up... hopefully.

I lagged out once in Skingrad on PC-NA doing decon's in the crafting area. So far I've been able to do my endeavors without issue. *fingers crossed*

1 st was as above. 2nd toon not a hitch. 3rd toon desynched in dungeon at the end. booted from server and 3 more times while crafting. just stupid. 2 1/2 hrs to do 3 toons. when working i can do 5 in 2 hrs.

I joined a normal dungeon tonight, queue popped, I entered and I was then at my character select screen.

I thought to myself "Odd, I don't think that is how this is supposed to work".

So regarding the bad actors, this cropped up today elsewhere:

This is a massive botnet built on compromised cameras and video recorders left accessible, with many of those located in the US. This is your reminder that there is no security in IoT (Internet of Things) - if you have a camera or video system accessible on a public IP address, there's a chance that your device could be part of the botnet disrupting your gaming.

Advice from the bottom of that article (emphasis added):

"In any case, anyone running any sort of IoT devices should position them behind a router or other form of firewall so they're not visible from outside a local network. Remote administration from outside the Internet should be enabled only when needed. Users should also ensure each device is protected by a strong unique password. Last, devices should be updated as soon as security patches become available."

Drinks from ponds here reporting in from the other side of the marsh. I login once a day and usually get kicked shortly after, then have to wait because it says can't find login info or booted from server. Wait 10-15 mins then it get in and stays connected for the most part.
