Add daily hirelings for jewelry and alchemy, please.

The jewelry skill line is still lacking a daily hireling. After update 40, it only seems resonable to add a hireling service for jewelry aswell. (Maybe alchemy, too?) Or am I missing something?

I agree. Especially since they changed the jewelry crafting platings to bring it in line with the other crafts. It needs a hireling too if it's to be equal to the rest.

    Alchemy needs one, too.
Or maybe they could add jewelry mats into the blacksmith hireling? They're both minerals.

I would love to see this too! Not just for the stuff (which is awesome), but I personally enjoy reading the little stories that come with each one. I take the time when I log in each day to read each hirling mail I get.

I like that they added them to the eidetic memory a while ago.

I rather invest three (or six with alchemy) more skill points for additional materials.

Agreed, we need a jewelry hireling(maybe alchemy too).

Also, provisioning dailies should drop lower level recipes, similar to how all the other craft's daily quests drop a random lower level material. Otherwise there is no way to gain these when you max your provisioning skill.

Agreed. I'd also like to see the daily jewelry writs return more mats. You get twice as many CP150 mats from other writs (smithing, clothing, woodworking) than you get from jewelry writs.

agree on both ,also some alchemy mats and specially Mudcrab Chitin should be removed from writs cause its very hard to farm -dropping rate is one per 4-5 crabs ,their price on vendors have skyrocket cause of the pop demand
its ridiculous ,im farming 9 years got xxxxxx in all other mats and only 600 Chitin cause i cant farm only for this for hours and inthe end to get only 200

do something, like you changed the cornflower back im the past do the same here ,ty

Fun fact. HIRELING_TYPE_JEWELRYCRAFTING is in the game code just not implemented fully. You can see it’s use in the Gamepad code https://github.com/esoui/esoui/blob/live/esoui/ingame/lorelibrary/gamepad/lorelibrary_gamepad.lua#L111

Same for Oko in Enchanting writs. Two out of three chances to require Oko as it stands now IIRC. It doesn't make sense that I should have something like 1500 each Deni and Makko and only 80 Oko.

Alchemy sort of does via the Dark Brotherhood skill line Shadow Supplier passive. I get 12 alchemy mats or trash potions every day on all 20 characters. I would, however, love an Assistant version of Remains-Silent so I don't have to go through 40 loading screens to get said alchemy mats.

I’m unsure if I would spend what will probably be 6 skill points on hirelings for each character. Some of them would have to go skyshard hunting again. It might be worth it if we got mushrooms since I think only alchemy plants like Bugloss and Columbine are drops from various reward boxes.

Nah, it’s more trash than mats. I always go with the equipment option. They’re more usefull, if being extracted—apart from the useless heart.

This has been requested for a long time. Not sure why it has not been implemented yet, especially given all the changes jewelry has seen the past couple of years.

When it was a new profession all the way back in Summerset (ahh good times....) it was understandable that there was no hireling . But now, in 2025.....it is unclear why there isn't a hireling yet.

But yes agreed that we could definitely do with one. Who knows, we might finally get it this year.
