Sluthrug's Hunger, does anyone even use this set?

I had hoped to use this with one of my off meta heavy attack setups, as a semi-support dps. The results were very meh, does anyone use this set? @ZOS_Kevin (unsure who else to bring this to the attention of) Could this be triggered with over-healing as well? That is the only way I could think of making it semi-viable for my setup. Would this make it too op somehow, or would it make it somewhat useful?

Needs to be at least 8% due to the way these types of values are calculated multiplicatively.

I'm not sure how much it needs buffed, but in its current form it felt like a waste of a 5 pc. At least for PVE, yet another one of the hundreds of niche/non-used sets they keep pumping into the game.

it feels like Martial Knowledge with an easier proc and no cooldown so it makes sense why it's only 4% but unfortunately people are still going to be using Martial Knowledge instead.

The issue is that it isn't that easy to proc, I made it and wanted to make it work. It was just a waste of a 5 pc, if it proc'd from over-healing it might be useful. At least from what my mediocre log reading skills could determine.

ah i didn't see that part.

maybe it does more in PVP but 5 pc for a three second proc is asking for a lot in an environment like that.

edit: looking at the Soulcleaver buff this PTS i have an idea for pairing that with Sluthrug but it'll then be competing with sets like Rallying Cry so this may need some testing.

need heal(no full health) so pve cant work(90% time dps rarely hurt) only vss and vka last boss can 100% work..
but i sound someone say pvp not bad

When it came out, people were interested in it but the fact it doesn’t proc on overheals and has such a short timer made it dead on arrival for a PvE healer.

I use it with soulcleaver on a NB healer. It fits the Vampire motif well. Couple the set with "Simmering Fury" and and you'll always have it up on yourself with with "Funnel Health"

But is that really worth the 5 pc over something like spell power cure or pillagers? So far it seems like this dungeon set is very niche for only pvp scenarios?
