There are a lot of "TBA"s in there as well.

I wonder if a preliminary version of the article went live by mistake.

I think it's intended as there are a lot of returning items, meaning way too many images to add to the article.

for the mounts it seems to be because the current store mounts that have been there for years are leaving

Just checked in with the team and this is intended. So no errors in pictures shown and dates.

Also, the new arms pack is Roksa the Warped themed, which is a Bal Sunnar boss:

But the showcase says that the matching mask will drop from the final boss in Scrivener's Hall?

@ZOS_Kevin is this information correct? that would be a first... until now the mask page has dropped from the final boss of the dungeon the arms pack pertains to...

I agree. I usually just look through the pictures and, if an item seems interesting, I might look at the dates. I definitely do not remember the names of the old items and just reading them does not give me any information about them.

Same, that's how scroll the article on my phone. I get they are trying to give the article a smaller footprint, but so much of it just runs together into blocks of text.

Put me down for not liking the new format. Seeing this is something I look forward to and I enjoy seeing what it is. I know I can preview in the crown store but I try to open it as little as possible.

I thought the items without photos at least had links but no, there's nothing to click on. I'm not a fan of this low effort showcase either.

I somewhat understand the idea not to post pictures of all the stuff that's just returning.
Links behind the bold print of the names would have been a lot more helpful, though. Most people probably don't memorize how things look, newer players never saw them, and having to look up things from a "showcase" via the internet is a bit tedious.
That said - shouldn't the ESO Plus Exclusive get a preview picture? Or is this supposed to be a suspense-thing? I'm so glad every time the Exclusive isn't some stupid Daedra-related thing, I'd love a preview picture to go with it!

Yeah, agree with everyone who does not like new showcase. It was really cool with all pictures 'cause, well, it is cosmetics so main reason to buy them is how they look. Without pictures i can't say do I really like a thing, so it's absolutely non-informative for me. I don't wanna spend more time and google how everything looks, it's just not the way how SHOWcase should work imo

I don't like the lack of pictures either, especially for new items.

I know it's only the ESO+ statuette that's new and doesn't have a picture, but that's exactly the kind of item which needs one. I usually don't subscribe, but I will do if there's something I want from it, which could be the statuette (there's been at least 3 months I subscribed mainly because there was a statuette I wanted), but I can't make that decision if I don't know what it looks like. I'll have to remember to preview it in-game, but because I don't usually subscribe I don't usually look at that section of the crown store either, so it's dependant on me remembering to go out of my way to check.

I do like the split between new and old items, that makes it easier to know what I want to pay closer attention to because I haven't seen it before, but again that only works if there's pictures.

I understand these articles have gotten increasingly long and picture heavy, but maybe there's a compromise? Something like putting thumbnails into the article which link to the full images.

Like a lot of other people I would normally scroll down the list of pictures and only read the text when I spotted something I liked and might want. I don't remember the names of all the costumes, mounts etc. or even the ones I thought were interesting but for whatever reason didn't buy before, so without pictures it's difficult to know if I'm interested in any of them.

I usually check the showcase to see what interests me. With this new format that's a lot harder to do. Many of these items are cosmetic and the thing about cosmetics is they affect primarily sight. A cosmetic I can't see is a cosmetic I'm unlikely to be interested in acquiring.
