Mayhem Pursuits: Which ones did/will you skip?

Here's the task list for that need a reminder

1. Complete 15 Quests

2. Earn 8 Whitestrake's Mayhem Boon Boxes

3. Earn 10 Event Tickets

4. Kill 10 Players in Cyrodiil

5. Kill 50 Players in Cyrodiil

6. Kill 100 Foes in Imperial City

7. Kill 500 Foes in Imperial City

8. Earn 2000 Tel Var Stones Through Kills and Rewards

9. Earn 100000 Alliance Points

10. Defeat 7 Patrolling Horrors in the Imperial City Districts

11. Complete 10 Duels

12. Complete 1 Battleground Match

13. Complete 5 Battleground Matches

14. Heal 400000 Amount in Battlegrounds, Cyrodiil or Imperial City

15. Deal 800000 Damage in Battlegrounds, Cyrodiil or Imperial City

Or by finished, she could just mean she got what she wanted out of it. You don't have to complete all of the objectives to be finished with your own pursuit.

Could also be a dropped word error. Like I meant 2nd Battlegrounds but I just said Battlegrounds. Simple grammar error.

If you skip the IC and BGs ones...

1. Kill 100 Foes in Imperial City
2. Kill 500 Foes in Imperial City
3. Defeat 7 Patrolling Horrors in the Imperial City Districts
4. Complete 1 Battleground Match
5. Complete 5 Battleground Matches

...you can complete 14 GPs, and in two days 13 because you can't yet complete the Earn 10 Event Tickets one (not sure if buying tickets count as earning them)...

I finished all 19! I never would have thought that the first Golden Pursuits I finished all of would be a PvP one, but I really had fun! I plan to enjoy more of Whitestrake's Mayhem too!

That's the one! It's not officially announced yet. But given how hard ZOS has been pushing Pursuits and themes, and themed Pursuits, I won't be surprised at all by a TOT-themed one.

I was not planning to participate in this one at all since I do not PvP and I'm not interested in the capstone reward (custom animations for gathering become annoying for me very fast). However, after seeing how many easy tasks were included, I got the AP one and, if I did not miscount, I will be able to get the TelVar too without too much of a hassle.

Siege weapon damage is best done hitting the guards at an resource, solo or with an friend not with an large group as they just kill the guards fast.

I'm surprised it's not already mentioned somewhere else if it's in the works. But UESP gets their info from a lot of sources, including game devs and datamining, so it could be that they have insider knowledge on an upcoming Pursuit. A card game with PVP options does seem like a logical follow-up to a PVP event. People coming off the Whitestrake high will be saying, "Okay, Cyrodiil/IC/BG's are dead again...what's next?" and ZOS can say, "Play our card game!...Pretty please? You can compete against other players and get hate whispers! It's just like Mayhem, except not really that much like Mayhem at all!"

Very few will be able to skip ALL OF THEM because the first one is to "Complete 15 Quests".

Well, I play a lot of ToT so I actually would participate in such Pursuit. I do realize however that a ToT focused Pursuit will cause much more backlash than a PvP focused one.

"Kill 500 in IC" (getting to 100 was bad enough with the pop in there right now); "Kill 7 patrolling horrors" (got 1, tried for 3 more, but we got ganked every time, so I gave up). I might try again tomorrow, but I've already got the reward, so there's no rush.

I can handle Cyrodiil (barely) and the BGs (by the skin of my teeth), but IC drives me nuts. I love the design and the mood, and I even like the quests, but I can't stand trying to PvE while being hunted by other players every second (who are often camping the quests/sewer entrance when they're not forming roving bands of "too bad about your quests!" horrorshows).

The only way I would participate in a ToT golden pursuit is if it didn't require any ranked games. The bad ranking system is why I stopped playing ToT.

All of them. That gathering emote is ok but not worth all that to me. Maybe if others could see it, sure would be more interesting if we could see others custom actions tbh but since all we see is them standing there at the node, what's the point? We can see the custom teleportation, which is nice because it makes things more lively with everyone not all being the same.

Congratulations! Especially since I know you don't usually PvP. I don't know how much AvA warfare you engaged in, but it can be a lot of fun zerging with others from your faction and jumping into the thick of things without worrying too much whether you live or die.

I am sorry I didn't make it clear. I did not care about the mining thing at the 15 level. I did up to 10 on my NA account and my EU account. Tbh I only considered doing up to the 15k telvar to be valid.

I don't do anything that involves grouping with other people.

It was a mistake to imply I did more but I considered it done when I got the tel var.

Patrolling horrors, only got 5, and I really think the ones in the sewers should count for this achievement as well. Did not do the capture keeps, as I don't really do much in Cyrodiil anymore nor kill players since I didn't attack unless attacked first.

I've kind of soured on the Pursuits after earning the Elven Hero costume on a couple accounts on PC-NA and PC-EU, and having it not show up in my collections for one of them. I had the same thing happen with the Nord Hero costume, except I earned that on all my accounts, and it's missing from a different one than the Elven Hero. I have to assume it's an issue with the "claim" click on the capstone rewards not always registering, or maybe short rollbacks or something, I dunno. The first one might have been me/user error, but after the Nord Hero didn't show up, I made 100% sure I had gotten the claimed message for the Elven one, and yet...

First off let me just say I haven't really touched PvP since the last event, but it's been pretty fun so far. About the most fun I've had in Cyrodiil in 5 years.

I'm currently at 13/15 completed, I'm not sure which 2 I'll finish, but this where they are now:

290ish/500 IC foes. (Surprisingly long to complete, and I already have enough quest turn-ins saved up for the rest of the event.)

1/7 patrolling horrors

0/10 duels

0/1 battlegrounds completed (Will probably knock these out.)

0/5 battlegrounds completed

2/5 Vlastarus town quests completed.

500 IC Kills

Having 2 different factions available did wonders at making the 5 town quest ones easy to complete.

Patrolling Horrors - don’t like getting bombed by invisible nightblades or an enemy zerg
Cyrodiil quests x3 - don’t like getting attacked inside the area for the quest turn-in (and I’m a PvPer)

I still have to complete the kill 500 for IC and 10 duels.
