ZOS, pls let us hide guild tabbard

it would be most lovely if, while youre in there rewriting things for vengeance, someone could have a quick look at whatever quirk apparently makes it impossible to let us equip guild tabbards without ruining our outfits

Side note: the tabard is hidden if you wear a costume.

Our guild tabard is nice, don't get me wrong, but in-game physics are weird and the whole thing acts like dual flaps on steroids. Misshaped and weirdly protruding. I'd like a toggle.

I didn't use a guild tabard so I don't know why you couldn't just not wear it. It seems to be easier than asking for a toggle.

ZOS, it's been almost 11 years since launch. PLEASE let us show our chosen guild on our nameplates without a guild tabard visible. I know you said it's not the easiest thing to implement, but again. Over a decade people have been asking for this. You decided we didn't need to be able to mount in certain delves or public dungeons anymore, which no one was asking for. Maybe focus on what customers actually do want?

If we cannot hide it, then please allow us to have an alternative mechanism like a Sashimono to show our guild membership. There is already something similar in game with the banner scribed skill.

Or a little flap cape, too, like the thing on the elven hero costume.

I mean, yes, not wearing one is certainly an option.

But many people would LIKE to represent their guild by having the guild name display under their username. And some guilds (I believe mostly serious PvP ones) actually REQUIRE you wear the guild tabard during active raids. Doing so, however, places essentially a giant flag hanging down your front and back, thus mostly hiding your outfit. The only current work-around to display guild name and not have the giant flag draping over your body is to equip a costume or polymorph instead.

A toggle doesn't seem like a terribly hard or bad ask (even though we've been asking for 10 years now) since you can easily toggle titles on and off or nameplates in general on and off.

A toggle for guild tag only would be amazing. Talbards cannot be matched with all outfits, and we know fps is the true end game.
