Does Anyone Use The Poisons That "The Game" Insists Dumping On Us

They seem to be fairly useless in my opinion in that they are applied 20% of the time AND they also suppress any enchantments. Further you can't sell most of them and the ones that you can are only worth about 9 gold and take up inventory until you can sell them. So I end up spending time deleting them.

The crown poisons and the dropped poisons are pretty garbage, I agree. Some craftable poisons, though, are pretty good (especially for certain builds and in PvP).

I save a stack of 1,000 Crown potions which we receive in our Daily Rewards. Any after 1,000 I consider too much and simply delete them.

Generally, I will only use poisons when they are required to assassinate NPCs in Dark Sacrament missions.

I sell the poison but I use trash pots more then using expensive pots.

No need to use expensive pots in easy gameplay.

Example is you will do fine with trash pots in normal dungeons, first arcs of IA, farming tel war, daily quests etc

I use expensive pots for hard gameplay like pvp or vet pve it saves me alot of gold.

A long time ago in a far away place poisons used to be more prevalent. Crown poisons were used pretty regularly as they were the same stats as crafted poisons. But updates and patches have phased out poisons for all but niche builds and pvp. Sadge

I trash the ones we are given as daily login rewards. Every alt already has some for that daily endeavor that requires killing NPC while you poison them. I would be happier if ZOS make the crown poisons salable, even for one gold each would be better than just trashing them.

I use the golden Crown poisons for endeavors and Black Sacraments that require using poison. As for the white poisons that drop from mobs and bosses, I vendor them.

And Endeavours, which is the only reason I hold onto some - I put them on the second bar weapon for use in poison-based Endeavours which is pretty much the only time I use the second bar anyway.

Charged is too good. And status effects in general even when not using charged.

I use them with new characters, but when they hit CP level I use weapons with poison enchantments I made with my Crafter.

No... I don't ever use poisons of any kind, and I don't do the endeavors that want you to kill using them.

I used to use poison for sacraments too, but now that I have all the associated achievements and gear, I only ever do them for an endeavor and I blast through, ignoring any optional objectives. Same for heists.

I generally don't use poisons in TES games, and only do so in ESO when there's a specific reason to, but I often use the white foods, drinks, enchantments, and other items found while questing on new alts. Most content in the game doesn't require a min/maxed build with BIS/META gear and buffs, and using commonly-found gear, enchantments, food, drink, and poisons on a less-than-ideal build can be an enjoyable way to get immersed in the game's world. :)
