Are players still using TTC, or is ESOHub now the goto addon for tracking price listings?

I mostly use ESO-Hub, but I'll occasionally still use TTC.

TTC for me, I use Minion and as far as I am aware ESO Hub is not available via that, I also use Master Merchant. 🙂

TTC, ESO-Hub/Trade Hub, Awesome Guild Store, and Master Merchant are what I use. I find ESO-Hub the most accurate, but it is nice to have TTC as a backup source to average.

Yep - MasterMerchant always first, but then I was using TTC if MM didn't have any data.

I thought the person running TTC was going to drop it.

Hadn't realised that I can run both TTC and ESO-Hub.

I dislike installing a program, prefer the smaller addons,so no eso-hub.I manually download/upload TTC data,so no need for me to run EXEs.I use suggested(removes outlier) instad of AVG for TTC,AVG is skewed by ppl overpricing things like a potato to 1m.I also remove outliers in MM,incase events or mispricing in guilds screw things with fluctuations.I like MM mostly cause off the level/quality sliders, makes it easier to see if things worth upgrading.AGS is a great replacement to default store UI,shoulda been like that in basegame.

Yep - changing settings to remove outliers is always the first thing I set up. AGS is almost essential if you want to find stuff without losing your mind.

      TTC ... just because ...
Both have an EXE that sends data somewhere unknown. Both do the same thing, so why should I change.

TTC's sources are on github. So you can see for yourself where the data flows if you care.

Ugh. That was generally speaking... Just data going to the server XYZ from both the TTC client and the ESO-HUB client.

I tried ESO Hub and my items either showed up 20+ minutes later or sometimes not at all. So I only use TTC which shows my items within 5 minutes always.

I decompiled the .NET assembly and looked at the actual C# to see what it was doing. Nothing nefarious from what I could tell.

For me it's TTC. Awesome Guildstore and Master Merchant are also useful.

Didn't Nefas say he was going to discontinue ESO Hub though?

That would be weird considering Alcast runs ESO Hub and not Nefas 🤣

(you're thinking of ESO University which was already shut down)

TTC has better data by miles, I tried using eso-hub's and it's database of suggested pricing was pitiful. Based on the data quality alone it seems that TTC is definitely the preference and that people generally have not made any kind of switch.
