Not much catching my eye, but I think I'm getting to the point where new things would really have to wow me to get my interest.

For a request, I am requesting that hair dyeing is added in game! (And maybe an answer to questions about class set auras!)
Still waiting for answers about class set aura behavior, and also hoping that one day hair dyeing will be an option. We know it's canon thanks to a book in the Manor of Masques! (House of Reveries: The Troupe)

Systres Guardian is my all time favorite motif - glad to see it available. I think prices might still be lowered since the High Isle event, so check traders before getting that one.

I might pick up Thorn Legion, we'll see.

Ditto! If it were a 1000 crown pack like the other main hair packs, I'd pick them up.

Thanks for the feedback here, @MafiaCat115. Follow up question for you, when you say "new things would really have to wow me" could you expand on that? I know for some folks that means "flashy", but we have also gotten feedback that folks want less flashy things. So just trying to get another perspective there. Feedback we can take to the team.

Hey Kevin - not sure if this is what MafiaCat was getting at, but as a long time player I think the feedback I'd share is that I'd be more likely to be "wow'd" so to speak by some legitimately new and unexpected items.

    - Like say an entirely new mount type;
    - a new assistant with new functionality (like letting me access my guild traders);
    - (related to assistants, I wish I could "re-skin" ones I've already purchased for less than full price - not going to pay the full 5k crowns again to get a merchant that looks different than the one I have but has the exact same funcitonality);
    - a hair dying pack / new hair styles;
    - an arms pack with a new take on some of the weapons (like turning my greatsword into a spear or dagger into a scythe or staff into a magic wand or a tome; or also something unique like how the gloambound weapons vanish when sheathed);
    - some new interactable furnishings that bring new effects or interactions to my houses;
    - a bard houseguest who takes song requests...

idk it gets tough to get excited when you've been around a while and have already collected a lot of the things.

And part of the issue too I think is that most of the cooler new items tend to be in crates, making the day to day crown store selection feel a little plain after a while.

In terms of your question about flashy vs. not flashy, I do like mounts / pets / items that really stand out, but they also don't need to be overdone with a lot of bright effects and sounds and particles and explosions. For me it's more about a unique look than trying to make a scene I guess.

For a specific example, the last high end mount I purchased was the Sanguivorian Howler, which I would say has a unique look suitable for my vampire character without the effects being overdone.

Whereas I would never get something like the recent Symphony of Dawn Charger, which for me is an example of crossing the line to being ridiculous and overdone. Of course these are all just personal preferences and I know some folks who loved it.

Anyway, I get that you can't just snap your fingers and change the crown store offerings but I saw your question and just wanted to share! Thanks for asking!

Just chiming in here. I'm firmly in the "not flashy" camp, so here's more of what I would like to see.

    Let's start with character styling.
I'm coming from the perspective of someone who likes to play mainly masculine male characters. I have one female character and even she's not flashy. So, there's a few things that would entice me.
    1. Hair styles. Crew cuts, different fades, tight hairstyles. Something a paladin, military general or ranger would wear.
    2. Costumes. Again, less is more. Some of my favorite styles are Systres, Nighthollow, Steadfast, Ascendant Order, and Dufort. I like regal, kingly, and tasteful styles. I mostly play rangers and paladin types.
    3. Hair dyes. Like other posts suggested, I think it's time we have this. All too often when someone creates a character, they look different when they get into the world.
    4. Galen styles. Can we get an outfit style for this? I love the weapon styles, they're a mainstay on a few toons.
    5. Whatever styles you release, can we please dial it back on the hip and crotch flaps already?

    Next up, houses.
I'm not too big into houses anymore, especially since the Grand Master Crafting stations came out. I was able to convert my Alinor Townhouse to a guildhall. But, there's always a small appetite for furnishings and housing. Here's some suggestions:
    1. A Mundus stone pack. I already have mine but still would be nice for others. They're too expensive currently, it'd be nice if there was a combo pack permanently available. 13k crowns.
    2. Global mood lighting furnishing. Something that can turn a room/interior space into specific mood. So, I dunno if you've played Hogwarts Legacy, but the player housing there had a similar feature. That would be nice.
    3. Medium houses. There are way too many $100 houses. They're hard to fill and they're always available for a limited time. I'd like to see something like an Erlibru's Cottage or something similarly quaint. We last got a townhouse style Home in Blackwood, would love to see that again. Maybe it's just me, but it's been a major factor in me disregarding the last few year's as daily hubs.
    4. Attunable crafting stations. 3500 Crowns for a pack of 4 stations, one station per crafting line.

    Mounts
I've really, really liked the Elk and Moose mounts. I did just pick up the Elk group mount. I also really like the siege breaker and treasure hunter horses. There's also a few rams that I enjoy.

    Miscellaneous.
    1. Class change token. Just saying, would be nice.
    2. Character boost to 50. 5k crowns and they're 50, with class lines leveled. I got stuff to do!
    3. A wolf skin for the Warden bear. But, I'm not paying $20 for it. $5 sounds fair.
    4. Customizable companion. I'd like to create a companion of my own, pick a background, appearance, class, and race.

Whatever you guys do, more permanently available offerings is going to net you more money from me.

I think everyone would agree that having hair dyes available in the crown store would be so long waiting feature and will make you a fortune. You can’t imagine how many times I thought about an ability to dye my high elf’s hair black, but there’s just no possibility right now :(

The ability to unlock hair dye for outfit station could be an purchasable account upgrade so all characters can use it. I would suggest for the ability to dye hair to be part of the outfit station and use the same dyes that are unlocked. Dye the base hair color along with hair highlights and shadows.

I would love to see more variety of hair styles available in the crown store. Like more short, spiky, curly, long, and even some punk hair styles would be awesome, even hair with realistic physics.

First off, thank you @ZOS_Kevin for asking for input. The effort is appreciated, and I hope that there will be some useful tidbits that you can use/pass along to the team. I apologize for not responding sooner, but I wanted to get home so I could get some screenshots.

To start off, the main issue I have is that I have been playing ESO since pre-One Tamriel, and ESO for the PC/NA megaserver since Markarth. By this point, I have bought most, if not all, of the items which would’ve grabbed my attention by now. For something to be striking enough for me to buy it, said item would have to be something new, or an improvement on what there already is.

That being said, here are some of the suggestions that come to mind:
    • Hair Dyeing!: I would love for a hair dyeing system to be added to the game. It could be using a new Hair Dye Station or assistant, and uses the dyes which are available at the Dye Station. This would also encourage players to go out and do more content to get more dyes. Even if it is using dye stamps which could unlock colors in the Collections menu, that would be appreciated.
    • More Hair Variety: I have noticed a number of hairs which are unavailable to the player/only in certain circumstances. Two examples are the hair the Nocturnal Shrikes have, and a special variant of the Ragged Royal Page Cut which I discovered while wearing the Azure Ombre hair on a Khajiit with the Winter Wreath Broadbrim hat. See the spoiler for both examples.

The hair the Nocturnal Shrikes have. Chances are it is rigged to be on their torso and differently than a player character's hair, but it would still be cool to have.
      i31po7cn6g40.jpg
    • Assistant Trade In: Looking through this February’s showcase, I see a new merchant assistant, Terilorne, that I would like. The problem is that I already have bought Fezez, so I would have little use for another merchant. If I could either trade in Fezez to get Terilorne at a discounted price, say ~500-1000 crowns, I would gladly do so. Or if in general you could get a discount if you’ve already bought a assistant of a particular type, that would motivate me to get another assistant.
    • Weapon Racks: These would be furniture items you could place down in a home and interact with to display weapons. It could either pull weapons from your account’s motif/style knowledge, or it could even just take whatever model is in your active bar and use that.
    • Alt Character Houseguests: I envision a houseguest which you could place down that would take the model of a different character in your character list. It could have a “Character A” slot, which is the primary character it takes the appearance of, and a “Character B” slot, which is used if you are actively on Character A already.
    • Collection Furnishings: There are many Crown Store furnishings which I’d like to buy, or have bought, that are limited by the fact that I can only put them down in one home. For example, I bought and enjoy the Auriel Statue, but I wish I could put it into more houses than one without having to buy many more. I know that having it be a Collection item would make it so that it could only be placed once, but an alternative could be having it so when you buy it you get a Collection version and a version like how they are now. The prime suspects off the top of my head for this would be the music boxes, statues, and Daedric Prince banners.
    • Speaking of Daedric Prince banners, I’d love to see an Ithelia pack including a banner of her’s and the Staff of Many Paths.
    • More Small/Medium Houses: I love the Notable houses, but they are so difficult to meaningfully furnish with the limits we have. Instead, I’d love to have more manageable houses which we could decorate instead. Seabloom Villa is a recent favorite house of mine due to the size of it, and I have seen others share that sentiment.
    • Passive Emote Usage: There could be an “Emote Profile” tab by the Personality section for Appearances which would allow you to select a variety of emotes to have automatically play when you’re standing still. They could be sprinkled in with the idle animations of personalities, and more profiles could be bought from the Crown Store like outfit slots. This would allow us to use the emotes we earn/get in crates more often without having to go out of our way to use them.
    • Account Wide Companion Unlock: While I would like it if for free companions would automatically be unlocked for the whole account (maybe once you complete their meta achievement), I would also accept having a purchasable item to have the companions be unlocked for ALL of my characters. Bonus points if I could still do the companion quests if I wanted to.
    • Interactable/Improved Noncombat Pets: Pets who you could pet, talk to, or hear commentary from would be a nice addition. Imagine if you could have Arox follow you around on your adventures while he critiques your fighting form, or a dog you could give head pats to. These could be a middle ground between houseguest and noncombat pet.

If there are any other matters you’d like input on, or if there is anything you’d like clarified, I’ll be more than happy to be of any help I can be! Your interest in player suggestions is encouraging, and I hope that some good will come of it for everyone!

    Where.
    Is.
    Sanguine's.
    Rose!?!?

It's really frustrating that there are collections of various things in game - Daedric Artifact styles, Undaunted Arms packs, ESO+ deity statuettes, etc. - that the Crown Store team is continually leaving unfinished. Why can't the team ever finish anything they've started?

Sanguine's Rose is the big one - of the 17 Daedric Princes (sans Ithelia), we've got 16 of their artifact styles available. The only one which has never released is the Rose, and with the Sanguine shrine in the West Weald and the statue we had in August and the Statuette right now, it looked like we'd finally get it.
...and nope. And since the Artifact styles are inexorably linked to the respective Prince's summoning day, that means we don't get another chance to get it until next February.
(Technically, we've also never gotten a Mace of Molag Bal bundle either. That artifact style was available once and only once with the Player Appreciation bundle in July 2020, instead of his normal Dec. 20 summoning day - so anyone who started playing since 2020 is also out of luck for that one.)

Also, we're getting the rerelease of the Lady Thorn arms pack, and a recolor of Prior Thierric's (instead of the Rose...) as our only Monster arms packs. The last new, never-released-before pack we got was the Blind last July. We still have six dungeons (not including the two upcoming) that have never has an Arms pack release... which means their head/shoulder pages also have never been made available:
    • Stone Husk (from 2020!)
    • Magma Incarnate (2021)
    • Archdruuid Devyric (2022)
    • Ozezan the Inferno (2023)
    • Roksa the Warped (2023)
    • Anthelmir's Construct (2024)
And before the Blind in July, the last new one was Kargaeda in September of the previous year. We used to get them every month, and now... we're getting new Arms packs even slower than we're getting new dungeons.

There's a lot of feedback that the Crown Store showcases are becoming less and less interesting since there are a lot of repeat items - which is not a bad thing so new players can get cosmetics! - but when it seems like rereleases are coming at the expense of actual new (and anticipated) things is when it gets frustrating and disheartening.

Anyway, I get that you can't just snap your fingers and change the crown store offerings but I saw your question and just wanted to share! Thanks for asking!

[EDITED to organize a little better].

I agree with much of what @valenwood_vegan said here. A new mount type would be great to see, along with the suggestions for more stuff in housing. For my level of flashy (which I completely forgot to talk about in my wall of text), I have a bit higher of a tolerance. I'll use mounts for some examples. One of my favorite mounts is the Auroran Polychrome Wolf because I am a huge fan of anything galaxy-themed, and I feel like it has a level of flashiness which is at the highest limit which is still enjoyably bright but not too much so. Other mounts like the Dark Aeon Wolf or the previously mentioned Sanguivorian Howler are good standards as well. (I may really like wolf mounts).

On the too flashy end, two mounts come to mind; the Spellscar Quasigriff and the Legion Zero Charger(?). The Quasigriff's animation of a tornado/lava plume/other elemental effects is jarringly bright, large, and hard to ignore. This is especially noticeable if you are a distance behind someone riding it and they are just barely in render distance, causing the mounting animation to play repeatedly. As they enter and leave render range. As for the Legion Zero Charger, I believe this is the mount that people sometimes spam a lightning flash animation on, which I've personally noticed at the pre-Luxury Vendor party in Coldharbour. The effect is done quickly enough that it is almost like a strobe light bright enough that I have to tab out of the game or cover everything but the chat window. It might be a different mount or action that is responsible, but I think it is this one.

When it comes to outfits and nonmounts, it is a similar standard. So long as they are not so flashy that their mere existence ruins the visual enjoyment of someone else's game, I am likely ok with it. A key example is how much I enjoy the class set auras, which are low key enough that the main person who sees them is the person who has them equipped (even if the behavior is a bit odd on them; my questions and observations with them can be found here https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/664317/class-auras-working-as-intended-or-bugged#latest )

In short, I like pretty and glowy mounts/items/animations/whatever if they do not overwhelm everyone around the user just by their mere existence.

If I may chime in with some things I’d like to see in the crown store as someone who doesn’t mind some “flashy” things, like mounts.

Hair dyeing: As many others have said, hair dyeing should be added to the game. It would be nice to have a much larger variety of colors to work with. It would also work with countering some of the odd color changes that happen with certain hairstyles which I’ve included in screenshots in the spoilers.

    Ragged Page
    3qb5pkxkatqj.jpg
New hairstyles: While I do like the hairstyles we’ve gotten recently, I wish we could get more longer ones. The longest hair players have available is the Coil with Long Fall and that barely drapes over the shoulder blades. I want to see something that could be akin to that or similar to what we see Nocturnal’s Shrikes with.
More beards: From what I can find only 5 beards have been added to the crown store and only two have returned to the crown store since I began playing (sometime during Markarth) and one is part of a bundle that never leaves the crown store (which is good). We need more facial hair styles and for them to come back more often. The Brigand's Beard hasn’t returned since its debut in 2017! That’s far too long for one beard. As for more variety, I wouldn't mind seeing a beard with greying on it (No I’m not counting the Old Salt’s Chin Trinket since that’s caked in frost). I have a character who’d I’d imagine has patches of grey in his hair and beard and it would be nice if I could get his character model to better reflect how I see him.

Transmog assistant: It would be nice to be able to get some sort of styling assistant. Some of the dye stations in the open world are a pain to get to and have really bad lighting. With an assistant, it could make it a lot easier to find good lighting and just be more convenient.
More skill styles: I’d like to see a reskin or few of the warden bear, like many others. It just feels wrong to have a warden summon a creature that may not be native to their homeland.
Customized actions: I wouldn’t mind a larger variety of more toned down customized actions. The Gold Road Recall is a perfect example since it’s not near blinding to witness while still adding a little flare. An example of a more flashy recall I feel like was done well is the Recall of the Outer Darkness since it adds a lot visually, but it’s contained in a smaller area and isn’t bright. A recall that I believe was done poorly is the Accursed Recall. It is not only very bright, but also suddenly takes up a large amount of the screen for both the user and any players around them. I have to look away from my screen every time I notice someone using it because the sudden flash of bright neon purple is too hard on my eyes. I don’t like getting flashbanged everytime I try to talk to an event NPC.

More major adornments: I know we have a lot of these already, but I feel like there’s a bit of variety missing. Like we only have one set of eyeglasses to work with. I love the Scholar’s Spectacles and use them on multiple characters, but I feel like it’s about time we got more. Like maybe a half-moon or square lens shape.
New personalities: I’m a sucker for personalities. I love them, I can’t live without them and I need more. Like maybe an old personality where your character needs to lean on/walk with a cane/staff. We as players don’t have many ways to show that the character we’re playing is older beyond giving them grey/white hair and maybe a beard if applicable.
New emotes: We have plenty of emotes, but I wouldn’t mind more looping ones to have my character do while waiting for a world boss. Like a pipe smoking emote. I bring that up specifically since we have seen a few NPC’s wipe out and fiddle with a pipe. Example in spoiler.

New race: I know plenty of people have asked for this and there have been multiple threads on it so I won’t go into detail beyond stating interest in adding races like Maomer, some other furstocks of Khajiit, or Lilmothiit if you’re feeling spicy. I just feel it’s appropriate to mention it here since the Imperial race can be bought off of the crown store.

    Where.
    Is.
    Sanguine's.

I'm glad others are also disappointed that the Rose has gone "missing" for another year, yet again! I really need the Rose and the Sanguine banner. Come on ZOS, make it happen already! PLEASE!!!!

      Spoiler
The Azure Ombre hair with Winter Wreath Broadbrim Hat on a Khajiit, which looks to be a Ragged Royal Page Cut with the color of the Azure Ombre

The Azure Ombre hair on the same Khajiit without the hat

The Ragged Royal Page Cut, showcased by Asrea Starlight, whose letter is in the Loremaster's Archive

The Azure Ombre Hair with the Winter Wreath Broadbrim hat on a non-Khajiit.

The hair the Nocturnal Shrikes have. Chances are it is rigged to be on their torso and differently than a player character's hair, but it would still be cool to have.

I want to second everything said in this post above (except the one I cut), especially cheaper assistant alts for those I've already purchased, emote/personality customization, and Daedric statues turned into collectibles for use in multiple houses. I would also enjoy new personalities and long hair styles. I'm not really picky about the "flashiness" of a mount; I'm more interested in whether or not it fits my character better than my current mount. That goes for any cosmetic item, really. I have a lot of characters, and they all have particular themes. The main thing that would encourage me to purchase more is if I had more character slots for creating characters with more themes.

I'm not a fan of the same things being rereleased month after month after month after— well, you get it by now.
There's always way too many returning items and so few actual "new" items. (And the Showcase is always extremely inconsistent about labeling old items as actually "returning".)

The showcases used to be an absolute highlight of the month, but there's so little to ever be excited for anymore that they're more of a disappointment, at least to me, each month for the last few years.

I've been here nearly 9 years and there's very little going into the Crown Store that I don't already have and/or the things that I've already passed on the last dozen times they've shuffled through.

Most of the actual new items seem to be shoved into Crates, and those take three months to finally swap out just to see a nice big chunk of new items to potentially drool over.

    Anywho TLDR:
Way way too many old returning items every month and not enough actual new items for long standing players to spend money on.

Does Terilorne the Dibellan Freetrader do anything special, or is she a merchant?

On the launcher it says "NEW ASSISTANT - ACQUIRE FINE WARES WITH TERILORNE, DIBELLAN FREETRADER".

The write up looks like she sells cool stuff (like the weekend trader). Does she sell cool stuff or is she a simple merchant like Nuzhimeh?

she is just like any other merchant assistant, not sure why she's described like that.
she also has dialogue about wares which is odd.
