[NA][AD] PRX - The Professionals

jamesmw_ESO
[PRX]The Professionals….since 1999

http://www.prx-guild.com

Online gaming’s most accomplished player vs player combat team. 14 Years strong.

Our hallmarks are professionalism, consistency of victory, experience, longevity and character.

We began in August 1999 in Ultima Online and have competed in every major MMORPG, on the respective hardcore PvP servers, since that time. For a more detailed account of our accomplishments, see our History. 100 members of our team have been with us over 6 years and our team has more than 300 members total.

We will be hitting TESO hard and are looking for a few good people. We are currently only recruiting players who have a level VR1 or higher character.

Our guild has a full suite of class guides, leveling guides, PvP guides, raid leading strategies etc. We've built this information over the last year in our time testing the game in the PTS, and collectively have some of the most TESO experience of any guild in the world. We have some of the highest level crafters in the PTS that have organized a crafting system to ensure our guild has access to the top level equipment sets as soon as possible.

We also hold weekly PvP training sessions and drills. These are intended to organize new recruits as well as practice new and advanced tactics. These training sessions are recorded and cataloged for later.

This information and approach, combined with 14 years of experience winning wars and an army of disciplined soldiers ready for PvP have provided PRX with the kind of war machine needed to continue our legacy of victory.

To apply, check out our recruitment process and post an application. We will likely ask you friendly questions and one of our leaders will make a decision on your app. The application process may seem antiquated, but it’s served us well over the last fifteen years and really helps us get to know people coming in. We spend more effort than any guild I know of to find good people, bring them in and integrate them into our community. Our next recruit orientation is this Saturday where we will be going over guild policies, TESO strategies, what helps make us successful, and answer any questions people have.

Those in Dawnbreaker know that we've fully conquered the map, so every night we invade another campaign to spread the glory of the Dominion. Recently we tested out some new strategies by guesting onto the Bloodthorn campaign. All land was held by the Ebonheart Pact when we arrived, throughout the night we worked with TAS and Spec Ops to secure two keeps. Here’s a picture of us assaulting the first keep.

Here's a screenshot of our first PvP Training. We regularly hold PvP training in active games to organize new players and try new strategies. Our next one will be on siege weapon placement and strategies.

Tonight we invaded the Hopesfire campaign where Red owned the entire map.
In the evening we took 3 keeps, 2 outposts and wiped a huge enemy force many times. Not a single time were we wiped.

PRX has a long standing alliance with the following guilds:
    Oceanic:
    Synapse (SYN): http://www.synapse-guild.com/

    Austrailian:
    The Elite(-E-): http://www.elite-pvpers.net/
    Darkness is Everwhere (DiE): http://dieguild.com.au/
    TRF: http://trf-guild.com/

    Europe:
    Ginnunga (GIN) http://www.ginnunga.org/

    Brazil:
Rebeldes Mercenarios De Aranoch (RMA): http://www.rmaesports.com/

These are some of the most hardcore and battle-tested organizations regardless of time zone. However, the fact that together we can maintain 24/7 coverage on a map together is an incredible benefit to the wars we wage in different games. ESO is no exception to that. No matter the game or the time, together we'll be able to project enough force to win battles and also have high quality people to play with.

Tonight 80 of us invaded the most populated and challenging campaign, Auriel's Bow. When we arrived at AB our faction only had a few keeps and no scrolls. We made an push toward the keep closest to DC's home, Fort Rayles which held one of our Elder Scrolls. Throughout the night we worked with the excellent members of Auriel's Bow to capture a handful of keeps and finally take the scroll held at Rayles. We also assaulted Fort Warden and defended Alessia from the EP.

85 PRX held another raid tonight in Auriel's Bow. Early this morning our Oceanic and Australian allies kicked up a hornet's nest by getting Emp and all 6 scrolls. Today I didn't see a single blue/red crossed swords or them take each other's camps at all.

We mostly fought like hell to keep our main holdings and developed a pattern of driving our force into the enemy home only to have to pull back to the opposite side because the other enemy was gaining ground. That's okay, it was a lot of fun.

We had a good fight assaulting an enemy bridge:
    E1urgKy.jpg

Defending against a massive enemy attack by flanking their siege:

And ended the night by burning Sinister's Keep.

We held another raid in Auriel's Bow tonight with 80 people. Both red and blue have consistently 2v1'd us for the last few days and tonight was no exception. We pushed on the west side against blue and leapfrogged the battles and took keeps deep in enemy territory. We took all but one of Blue's keeps and fought their entire force at their home keeps. This created some massive fights against 100 blues.

    L3qfpSU.jpg

Unfortunately as we were successful on the west side of the map the east side started to get desperate as red was pushing into Faregyl. We broke off the destruction of blue and jumped to the other side of the map and took out Blue Road Keep. This was undefended and we made a new guild record on capping a keep. From first engagement to capture was 4m14s. From then we pushed north and began taking territory. We took out a couple more keeps and began making a push to the scroll. This push broke red (most of them logged off) and we took both their scrolls.

We had another 80 man raid in Auriel's Bow. When we came onto the map the enemy had Alessia so we took that first and drove into Red's territory to pay them back. We then switched to blue side who held 4 scrolls. We took Glademist and then drove to Rayles and took its scroll and the scroll in its temple. We then switched to the other fort near the enemy's spawn and took it and its temple's scroll. During this time red shifted their focus onto us and started taking our territory. We brought the four scrolls to our territory, thereby giving our side all the scrolls in the map and then drove red out of our side of the map.

On 4/24 we had another raid. 80 of us gathered at Ft. Ash and worked our way north to hit blue. We eventually took all their keeps and several of their scrolls. One of the scrolls was taken by a militia named Daisy Fairy who had a safe route to base but ended up jumping into the lava. We were able to fish it out with a PRX-branded human ladder and brought it to safety. We took the next scroll from Ft. Warden and Cinge captured it. Currently running the scrolls are bugged and you don't get infinite sprint. We had the entire blue side hounding us all the way down the map but we forced them through a chokepoint and annihilated them and marched it home.

Tonight we struck deep into the heart of the enemy territory and took over the outpost opposite of us: Bleakers. This put us in a rare opportunity to watch and control the fighting between blue and red where sometimes we were holding off both of them and sometimes they were fighting each other.

We also guested on another server where AD was heavily outnumbered and fought against a huge blue force. We ended up taking the AD territory by the end of the night.

Are yall still based in Dawnbreaker? AD needs some help bad in Wabbajack against all the hardcore organized PvP guild on DC and Ebonheart. We lack organized PvP guilds there. You guys should consider coming over and checking it out.

No, we are no longer on Dawnbreaker. We chose that server initially with our alliance and after getting the world's first keep and world's first emp on it ( http://elderscrollsonline.com/en-uk/news/post/2014/05/02/audience-with-an-emperor-morkulth?ref=home ) we realized the server was completely void of any competition. We tried different servers and found that the best competition was on Auriel's Bow and that AD was regularly outnumbered there. We've switched and while AD is up in points by a large margin and many of our enemies have quit we still have good fights there.

Perhaps in the future when things Auriel's Bow calms down we will check out Wabbajack. It'd be fun to meet all the organized groups in ESO, friends or foes.

Greetings, I was wondering about your level requirement, on here it says level 15 or above, but I believe on your website it said minimum is 50?
  • jamesmw_ESO
Hi eejay, thanks for your question. Our level requirement is indeed level 50, I will update the number here.

Tonight's raid brought 60 of us into the heart of Blue's territory once again. The night started out with one of our skirmish groups taking and holding Nikel. This cut off the blue force and we held them off indefinitely even when they succeeded in breaking down all three doors. These three pictures were taken simultaneously.

Tonight 30 of us entered in an all call. We choose our home campaign, AB because we only held 3 keeps and the enemy had an emperor who was on the field.

We initially struct toward Red who had the current emperor. We took back Alessia and pushed passed Sejanus to BRK. We ground the enemy down there by first capturing the supply camps and then stormed the postern door. After Alessia the enemy fortified Arrius but we skipped to Chalman instead, which was an easy victory. After Chalman the enemy had only one keep left to hold on to the emperorship, Aleswell. We captured Arrius and completely cut them off, then went to Aleswell to finish the job. Aleswell was an amazing battle but due to their supply lines cut off they eventually exhausted.

    ZfxQeyc.jpg

We then pushed blue who had three scrolls. We took Glademist and Ft. Ash (Grats to Silverfawx on getting emp). We then pushed and took Warden getting our first scroll of the night. After this we marched to Ni-Mohk and captured its scroll. Our next target, Rayles was heavily defended by blue's entire force but we fought through it.

    IK85MbU.jpg

After Rayles, blue had one more objective, the scroll of Alma Ruma which we captured and took home.

All in all we had a great night. We started off owning 3 keeps, 3 scrolls and an enemy having emperor and ended the night with all 6 scrolls, 12 keeps and having crowning a new emperor.
  • jamesmw_ESO
Tonight's all call featured a push into blue to capture Glademist, and then a push into Red's territory where we had our way with them and could take any target we wanted. We got as far as their spawn keep, Farragut.

We ended the night with a few guild pictures:

Hello! I'm interested in joining you alls guild, but the most recent forum post in the recruitment section says that you all have stopped accepting. Is this true or are you all still recruiting for ESO? Thanks
  • jamesmw_ESO
Hi Bryan! We currently have open recruitment for ESO with a VR1 minimum level.

Our ArcheAge recruiting is mostly closed, but you can get in by playing with us and getting to know is in the ArcheAge alpha.

Tonight 30 of us raided Bloodthorn. I try to keep the fights to AB, but tonight the Aldmeri Dominion was beating the enemy back to their spawn point in AB, so we went to the server with the least AD pop and the fiercest resistance.

At the start of the night AD and red owned zero keeps and blue had us at our spawn point. We started off the night with a push on Black Boot and carried on to Faregyl. Once we secured a foothold we set our sights on the scrolls and raided blue territory, pushing through Nikel and all the way to their home keep, Ft. Rayles which had the Altadoon scroll.

    yryyClH.jpg

We easily secured Rayles and began the long run back to our homebase. We had the entire blue server (90+ enemies) attacking us and wiped several groups of them, but our scroll holder's game crashed! Because you need to be out of combat to pick up the scroll we were slowly overwhelmed by blue's forces.
    9r0l7yF.jpg
Blue secured the Altadoon scroll but did not recover Rayles yet. We ported back there and thwarted their attempts to retake it and place the scroll in it. However they cowardly left the fight and went to take it to their northern keep. We followed in their footsteps and took Glademist in their wake, securing our other scroll. We knew we did not have the ability to bring the scroll back to our home, so we instead holed up in the mine west of Glademist.
    SXrYYH9.jpg
    l9jtjgQ.jpg
There we hunkered in with the scroll and defended the tower against the entire enemy server for a half hour. This diversion allowed both red and yellow to secure their homebase and granted us a massive amount of AP. Eventually their severed poured into the tower and overwhelmed us. We had our forward camp holder place a camp in enemy territory and continue taking keeps and progressing the Dominion's hold. We ended the night taking Roebeck and Nikel.

  • jamesmw_ESO
At the start of today's all call, in our home campaign, AB, red/blue was pushed to their spawn. So we went to wabbajack where the population was 1/locked/2. I really do not understand the mentality of a PVPer who chooses to fight outnumbered enemies at their spawn.

At the start the Aldmeri Dominion only had one scroll and only had a couple of their home keeps. Our first push was deep into red territory. We first took BRK and then took Kingscrest Keep where the Altadoon scroll was. Even though red's population was locked we were able to out maneuver their forces and take the scroll out from under them. We safely brought the scroll back to our temple and then took the fight to blue. We surprised them by taking Ft. Ash and made a push to Aleswell. This attempt was not as successful so we flanked their force and took Glademist. We held on to Glademist for as long as possible but were overwhelmed.
    EdFwWzl.jpg

We then defended against the blue onslaught through Ft. Ash until we got to Nikel. We enacted an incredible defense against their force there and successfully repelled them to end the all call.
  • jamesmw_ESO
Tonight we had an all call in the Wabbajack campaign, which was the only campaign where a side had more than 1 bar throughout the night. 30 of us found the Dominion pushed back to Faregyl and Alessia early in the night. We pushed the enemy off of our home keeps and toward BRK where we spent most of the night. Our primary objective was to recover the two scrolls that red had stolen from us. We broke off the main assault at Arrius to sneak the scroll of Alta Doon at Kingscrest, but were rebuffed by some Ebonheart that were spamming the mage mercs which became invulnerable.

    VNAdho7.jpg

After this battle we needed to hop to the west to defend against the Daggerfall invasion. They were pushing on Roebeck and we charged them back to the farm and all the way to Nikel and then Ft. Ash.

    ZiMIB8w.jpg

After the west flank was protected we resumed our assault on the Pact and marched from Alessia over the bridge to Sejanus, then BRK and then Arrius.

    Wsvuncz.jpg

After Arrius we led the assault on the Ebonheart home keep of Kingscrest, which housed the scroll of Altadoon.

    UsjqCGw.jpg

We were able to take the scroll and Dune/ChuckSavage recovered it and began the long march to the south. Meanwhile the enemy was invading our territory. We rushed to Alessia to defend an attack. This picture was taken seconds after we arrived, this elite group of Red were seconds away from capping Alessia but we arrived on time and fought a close battle for our keep.

    b0IibXy.jpg

As we fought this battle the enemy broke into Roebeck to take back their scroll. We waited at the Alessia-Roebeck bridge and ambushed them there. HidrOxi recovered the scroll and we ended the night by spiking two scrolls.

Interesting, I have 2 questions for you:

    1. Do you have 'mandatory' nights with attendance?
    2. Typical raid times (EST) and raid sizes over the course of the night? Strictly pvp of course.
