Companion bonus when you end their quiest

Hello, I have maxed all companions to lv 20. 8 of them.... it was quite tedious but i like the companion system. Now i was wandering if the bonus you get for ending a companion quest is accountwide or relegated to that character. They are listed under ugrades but i don't know if the are character releated even if those are accountwide.

kiheikat✭✭✭Once you get the keepsake collectible from the companion, their perk is accountwide. Plus you get the perk whether the companion is active or not. You only have to get the achievement on one character to get the perk.
The perk shows up as an upgrade.2
