Is the Animal Companion skill line all considered pets?

For what purpose? Necropotence? The netch works. The bear shouid work as well. Some armor sets (Unleashed Ritualist) refer explicitly to "summoned pets". That would be those two skills. The wording on Hunt Leader is different. Not sure about that one.

Necropotence edges crafty in max magicka as well if that's your intent.

You could backbar sustain (wretched, essence) keep necropotence 5 piece on the jewelry or body, and front bar willpower or ancient grace. And either go mythic and one piece or a monster set.

I ran this for a while on a niche warden build and was a lot of fun. Slot the mages guild detect for 5% increased magicka too. This was pre-scribing. I'm sure the scribing shields are pretty good.

Hmm. It never occurred to me that Infinite Archive might consider that whole skill tree as pets for Well-Trained Command. Probably not, but who knows.

I've also run a high-mag build on warden in PvP, but it hasn't been meta in a long time. Scribing shields are IMO not good. Wield Soul goes to the lowest health ally, regardless of where you are looking. The scaling is also not great. Shielding is good on sorc, but it took better scaling (I think), a higher threshold, and the addition of a heal to make it meta again. Shields are still brittle. They're only good until they fail and, then, you're let down hard. It works on sorcs, cause they streak, stun everyone, and gain some distance at that point. Taking a shielding build into PvP has always run into the issue that magsorc does it best and that's what you're competing with.
