I just wanted to share my experience trying to play in Cyrodiil tonight, and I’m curious if others are facing similar issues or have any advice.
The moment I got into Cyrodiil, my ping started spiking up to 999+ constantly, making the game nearly unplayable. To make things worse, I got disconnected multiple times. I tried all the usual troubleshooting steps: restarted my router, even switched to a VPN to see if it might be a routing issue, but the problem persisted. It wasn’t just me either—a bunch of people in my guilds reported experiencing the same thing.
It’s frustrating to see this kind of instability in a game that’s been around for 10 years now. Cyrodiil has always been a unique and fun experience when it works, but nights like these make it feel like the PvP side of ESO is being left in the dust. I know server strain can be an issue, but with how long the game has been out, I’d hope for some improvements in stability by now.
Has anyone else been struggling with ping and disconnects tonight? If so, were you able to find any solutions, or is this just another case of Cyrodiil being Cyrodiil? I’m hoping ZOS can address these issues because nights like these are disheartening for those of us who enjoy PvP.
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and experiences.
