I can only assume that console addons will be hosted officially via a ZOS platform similar to how Skyrim/Fallout/Starfield mods work.
A byproduct of this was PC mods are also hosted by Bethesda and accessed via your Bethesda account.
Does this mean we might have competition to Minion on PC too?

They said to us addon authors: Only for consoles, no plans on doing that for PC for now.
Skryim mods aren't limited to the Bethesda ones selectable via the in-game UI, though. The last few times I played Skyrim, I never even installed any of the Bethesda-hosted mods, instead I used Mod Organizer 2 which is **an** equivalent of Minion for ESO.

Nobody said anything about blocking 3rd party sources. Just a query for competition.
Personally, unless it sync'd data, I'd keep using Minion on Windows. On Linux Minion has been a pain in the past. If ESO could manage it all natively, and do it well, and ideally back up user data then I'd probably ditch Minion as it would make jumping between Windows/Linux so much easier if my addons (and their data) would sync up.
