Rush of Agony bug

Any ideas when the Rush of agony pull set will be fixed? I'm getting pulled by multiple people wearing the set instantly in different directions upwards of 4 times. There is no cool down and when you're feared, stunned, rooted, immobilized, and stunned in a negate and pulled 4 different directions in 2 seconds what exactly is there to counter that?

    Rush of Agony has been broken for a while now, and there appears to be little interest in fixing it. I have been pulled from off the d-ring of keeps, through rocks and walls, through keep doors, and from way more then the claimed 12 meters (For example using sorc streaking and still get pulled back). I have been at max range for a lighting staff (28m if I remember) and still get pulled in. Some of that may be explained by lag, but not all of it. I mean really, pulled off the d-ring??

    This is usually combined with a scribing skill pull and then another player placing a skill such as Turn Evil which applies a stun or fear. As a result, if you manage to evade the initial pull, and the rush of agony, there is the scribed pull (so 3 pulls) and then a stun / fear on top of it. Basically a Ball Group's ideal setting. Everyone trigger proxy-det, do the pull at the right time and everyone just STAND in the middle of the people who have been pulled with absolutely no counter. No one within about 30 meters is going to live.

    Because there is no game-play counter, the best solution is to deny them the fight. When we see a group doing this, we just leave the area.

    RoA is a set that never should have been created. But since it was, it never should have been allowed into the game.

    Free pull sets have no place in PvP. It's really bad "combat" design.

    It doesn't immobilise but leap has a snare that goes through any kind of snare immunity which slows you down. It's intentional and was changed many many years ago.

    Okay, snare. Whatever you want to call it, it stops a player from moving and ignores CC immunity. Just and example of something not following the rules. It's intentional, like Rush of Agony.

    It also has the added benefit of causing toons to go into slow-motion mode when hit with leap, with animation of being thrown into the air, slowly falling, and then slowly getting up, losing at least two gcd. Can't heal, can't do anything except wait. Working as intended i guess.

    Also, people are bringing this up and talking about it. You just did, and two people, including me responded.

    Well, at least leap is an ulti skill that takes resources and skill slot. RoA is a mindless free pull.

    even better is that you can try to break free from the rush of agony pull and that "fake cc" is highest priority to break free from so if there are more instances of cc such as another pull or stun resulting in animation locking to remove any abity to interact usually vs a group for long enough to just die as they have to break free 2/3 times and that animation locks them the entire time

    They just need to remove free pull sets from PvP. They're fine for PvE, but pure toxic waste in PvP.
