The one from the trailers has been available in the crown store, so probably wouldn't work well as a Golden Pursuit reward. I believe the Nord hero costume was an updated version, too.

it looks better than the old version so I'm fine with it.

Textures on the new one look much better, and they got rid of the silly exposed thigh bit. I am delighted we're getting this new one and not the old one.

The January roadmap says that the Elven Hero remake is one of the rewards for the next Golden Pursuit at the end of this month. https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/671430/january-2025-roadmap/p1

By that logic, I'd expect the Breton Hero remake to pop up in the next month or so thereafter.

The Nord Hero from November isnt exactly like the Hero from the trailers either. I think we need to accept that we just arent going to get an accurate 1:1 replica in the game.
