New Life Fest has the same problem as every other event

The servers cannot handle the amount of players porting to the event zone and a lot of players get multiple disconnects before they finally get to the event quest giver.

Or, in my case, they might give up after five tries.

It’s the same problem with every single event that has a ticket quest in a specific zone.

Same. I shouldn't have to wake up at 4am to play. And this is mid-morning on a weekday (at least it is on CT). Tonight will be fun.

I do one quest to get my tickets and then I'm done for the day. And once I get one more 10-tix fragment (in two more days), I'll be done with the event.

It doesn't do any good to play more than that if you've played these unchanged events for more than two years.
You just get flooded with the same exact "rewards" that have been given since the event's inception.
Tons of people are so well over-stocked with these items such that they are worthless to trade; they're nothing but inventory clutter.

If ZOS wants to do something useful in 2025, they should re-vamp these anchor events.

I mean, it was totally clear for me that that would happen (currently on try 4 to reach eastmarch). It happens every single year, for new life even more than for other events.

I'm still disappointed though.

Same. But in this case, I couldn't even get to Eastmarch. I logged in, got my Manni key from saved-up tickets, tried the portal to Eastmarch, got forced out. Tried again, same. Tried a third time by trying to go to my Snowglobe home, same. I'm not going to waste more time on this if I can't even do one quest to get my tickets.

PC EU seems to be okay. But PC NA - I can't get to Kynesgrove at all, every time I get booted. And it's not even peak playing time in NA.

It depends on time of day and how many people want to get to eastmarch currently. Is was a nightmare the first 2-3 hours, since everyone wanted to get their tickets for the day quickly. It's better now, and will get (potentially much, much) worse on primetime again.
It's the same story every year. If you have observed it for a couple years, you can quite well predict when you can get to kynesgrove, and when not. It just sucks, when the only free timeslot you have during the holidays happens to overlap with primetime...

PC - NA

I always have problems getting to the quest wayshrine on the first day of an event and my main character on my main account even though it is quieter now still cannot get there, and just got chucked out of the game trying, will have to teleport to another wayshrine and ride in.

I honestly wish some of these rewards wouldn't drop if your account had them already (like style pages.) I don't need the same Glenmoril Wyrd treasure map or the same Dremora motif page that I've gotten 50 times after I learned them. There's so many of them around everywhere that they're worth nothing and they're easily obtained anyway if you're a new player the next time the event comes around.

I agree these events really need an overhaul to be honest. Rewards basically never change and it's gotten boring because it's the same formula every time. I don't even interact with the events anymore outside of the one daily quest.

Xbox NA-server, and I keep crashing all the time - ALL THE TIME! I can't port to Kynesgrove directly, I crash instantly after a load screen. Have to go to Eastmarch, and IF I'm lucky, I'm able to take a quest BEFORE it crashes and burns.

I've had loads of crashing problems on EU - was in sanity edge and crashed about 8 times on the first boss alone. But its the same every big event - so don't know why I tried!

Multiple crashes trying to get to the event site PSNA. This is ridiculous. If you're going to hold an event make sure you have the capacity to accommodate all the players on accessing the zone.

Same here, both that area and several quest location zones were very crowded but running smoothly for me earlier on both servers.

Didn't have any issues on PC NA either. Really the only problem I'd say there is is my lack of desire to play the game during a time that's supposed to draw players in. Get event tickets -> logout -> load up different MMO -> repeat tomorrow.

I didn’t have any trouble this morning on PS NA. I did all the quests on one toon and then I remembered all the inventory clogging disposable stuff that this event dumps on me that I have to destroy. Maybe I won’t do them all again.

I also do one quest a day then never anything else. But I hard disagree on reworking this event.

I like that there are multiple events a year you can straight up skip without missing anything. You don't even need every events tickets to get all the ticket rewards. I don't want a game where I feel like I have to play every event.

I really don't understand why they don't have Breda in all main alliance zones. This would spread the players much better.

Another issue are the excessive loading times I get everytime an event is there...

I have no big problems either. I added more memory to my PC and it made a world of difference.
