While we're discussing UI...

Matt's letter holds a lot of exciting ideas that I'm a huge fan of, but one of the things that caused me to raise an eyebrow just a bit was this:

- Sprucing up the game's PC UI, which is long overdue for a modern visual upgrade

The reason being that, while I think this is a good and valuable idea, I use the controller UI exclusively, and I think there are some things that could be handled better there as well. When I started playing ESO I scoured the mod databases for something that mimicked SKYUI from Skyrim, one of the most (if not the most) popular mods for the game, because it was a vastly superior way of managing inventory and it was also much closer to how the Oblivion UI looked which I think a lot of people preferred. I finally found BetterUI - Gamepad Interface Improvements, and it was glorious until it stopped working due to a lack of support. I would really love to see ZOS address the controller UI by implementing something similar to this, because the Skyrim-style UI has never been ideal. It's the reason SKYUI was so incredibly popular.

I have come to terms with the way it works, but there is a lot of room for improvement on controller UI. I know the PC UI is the priority because I'm sure the majority of people use it, but controller UI needs love too! Don't forget us controller folks, ZOS!

Edit: To give an example of what the mod I'm talking about looked like:
