Last i knew, curated drops are supposed to happen in dungeons

I routinely get items i already have collected in dungeons when i have new pieeces available.....

Only the final boss is normally curated. The other bosses also have a limited list of items they can drop, so getting duplicates when you have all the drops, is normal.

Every drop is curated within the drop pool. But different bosses within dungeon have different items in their drop pool. If all you need is a dagger and that particular boss cannot drop a dagger, you will get a duplicate. This forces players to run entire dungeon rather than just kill first boss and leave group.

Dagoth explained boss curation correctly.

Chests in dungeons are never curated (except if there’s a bug). Their rolls do not check your collections, so you might get a collected item or an uncollected one (if you have any left), depending on RNG.

i get body piecees that i already have before new pieces.

yes - certain bosses will only drop certain body pieces. I can't remember it exactly, but its something like boss 1 shoulders and gloves and waist, boss 2 chest and hat etc, so if you have got all the pieces that boss gives you will get duplicates. Weapons and jewellery only come from the last boss (and chests/rarely mobs). The chests aren't curated at all, so any body pieces there will be luck of the draw

Minor bosses will drop one of: Hands, Waist, Feet, or unique item.
Bosses will drop one of: Chest, Shoulder, Head, Legs, or unique item.
Final bosses will drop one of: Jewelry, Weapon, Shield, or unique item.
Miscellaneous enemies have a slight chance to drop set pieces.

If a piece is dropping twice, that means you have already curated everything from that specific type of boss for the dungeon.
