There is currently no way to change the colors, but you can submit a /feedback in game to let the team know that this is an issue. Failing that, I don't think there's anything yet. Maybe an addon author can write something to display it? I know there are addons that will add a numerical display for item quality so you can see the difference between e.g. blue and purple or green and gold quality items.

wait what? THOSE ARE DIFFERENT COLORS??? I just sorta guess "that looks like someone who's gonna attack" or "that namesounds like an npc not a mob"

i can actually see all 3 colors there which is more than i can do in game. red and green (yellow? skulls) are the same to me in game, this ended up way better distinguished
which is the problem with the simulators they do best estimate on most common and i'm definitely more broken than that
