    Looks like I managed to get my time in today before it went down. I think I logged out around 3ish. Was working fine, if even more emptier than usual. Maybe it didn't affect me because I was already logged in?

    The problem kicked me off the server so I don't think it had to do with being logged in already.

    Lastest update says it will be more than 12 hours total to resolve the server issue.

    Sorry but this sounds like ransomware. Do I have proof, no but have worked with companies that have experienced this type of issue before. One company was basically down for a month trying to figure things out.

    Instead of paying they are searching for the code that caused the issue and are basically going to do a server wipe and reinstall a last good known version or pieces of the last good known versions and then pray when they bring it back up, that everything works out without too many issues.

    If this is ransomware how much data/personal information did they get? If it is ransomware, it is better to let the community know now versus trying to hide and then telling us later when it is too late to do anything about our personal information being out there.

    There is no evidence this is ransomware. The explanation they have given is plausible and makes sense.
