Golden Persuits - Auto-pinning of tracker

Personally I experience the automatic pinning of a tracker for the first Golden Persuit to be really quite irritating. Having to manually un-pin this for every character is a distraction and a waste of time. It flavours engagement with Golden Persuits with a hint of negativity from the outset, which surely cannot be the intention.
It's nice that the separate tracker is an option available to us, but forcing its use on everyone is not. I'd hoped it was done last time as a one-off to make sure everyone was aware of the feature.
As far as I can tell there is no setting to disable this behaviour. Is there one I've missed?
