Inventory books re eidectic memory

Please stop putting eidectic books into quest inventory to be read and if they aren't in time they disappear, or special steps to be taking in order to get the book. I'm looking at you Tanlorin's Bird Note. >:(
If you seemingly can't stop doiing that, can you please ENSURE there are post quest locations to pick up books? (See list of remaining bugged books at the end of the ridiculously long Eidectic Memory thread). Also, at the beginning of that ridiculously long thread, there used to be pictures of the bookshelf locations in Imperial City, which have since disappeared. For six months I have been checking for The Distributed Soul. Nope. So, does anyone know if it is assigned to a particular bookshelf and where that is? Is it bugged too?

✭✭✭✭✭The solution would be to have consistency as to where the quest books go after the quest. We used to be able to get them at either the place where we turned the quest in, or at the place where the quest started.Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

✭✭IC books are not assigned to particular bookshelf, they can be on any bookshelf in IC. They are assigned randomly once when instance is created (i.e. maintenance, added campaigns during events) and are the same for all players, books will be re-rolled after maintenance. CP and No-CP are different, check both to double your chances.5 -

I am checking both campaigns, and the bookshelves change on average once a week, maintenance or no. A bit different than zone bookshelves which can change every 24 hours. If they randomly cycle through bookshelves, it's odd I've seen Glorious Upheaval multiple times and Introduction to Aedric Studies mulitple times on the different shelves I've checked, but not this one book. I don't check all the shelves in the whole city though.0 -
