Just because it was intentional still doesn't mean it's good. And while cross-healing was always a problem, it doesn't change the fact that the new 2 team BGs are impacted by that problem far more than 4v4v4 ever was.

The fact that the new battlegrounds feel simpler is intentional. ZOS mentioned they aimed for a more straightforward gameplay experience compared to the 4v4v4 mode.
Good points from all of you!
I would love to try the old maps ONLY with 4v4/8v8. That way it would be easy to see the benefits/drawbacks of the new maps.
OR the other way around, just try the new maps with 4v4v4 ONLY.
The graphic designs of alot of the new maps is awesome! But the feel or flow of the combat just isnt there

Couldn't agree more. The new maps are aesthetically very nice. My favorites are the larger city maps. I feel like zos really captured the essence of bgs with these. I would love to see 3 team format in them and 2 team in the old. I mean, why not? More variety is probably good.
