Jewelry crafting still not on-par with other crafts

We were pleasantly surprised when ZOS changed Jewelry crafting to be on-par with the other crafts. However, I noticed that there are still two things that make it not on-par with the other crafts:
1. There is still no jewelry Hireling (which has been reported before)
2. The amount of materials you get as a reward for the daily jewelry quest is lower than that of the other crafts: with jewelry (on max level) you get 10 platinum plus 3 lower level ounces, while with the other crafts it is 15 max level items plus 10 lower level items.

I noticed this as my stock of jewelry platinum ounces is slowly going down when doing daily crafting quests on 7 characters, while for the other crafts the stock keeps slowly increasing (I also do one crafting survey for each of the crafts every day).

Please ZOS, fix this so jewelry crafting is really on the same level as the other crafts.

Getting rid of "pulverised" trait materials, which are akin to the old "grains" would also be really good, please! 🙂

    On the flip side though..

Jewelry is tied with Woodworking as the easiest crafts to fully research. Jewelry master writs give the most bang for the buck than any other craft and don't require learning Motifs to complete. Whereas Woodworking provides the worst quality of return on master writs and has the additional requirements of needing to learn Motifs, but acquiring raw mats is more bountififul than Jewelry.

[edit] Upon paying closer attention just now while doing my daily writs, each daily writ returns approximately 1/3rd of the same quality material that the writ required to complete. They each deplete your supply at the same rate.

Jewelry only uses 25 or 30 materials per craft, returns 7 + 3 (random), at max level.
BS/WW/Cloth uses 38-42 materials per craft, returns 15 + 10 (random), at max level.

So, it inherently uses less, you get returned less. You also still get surveys at the same rate, which provide the same as BS and WW surveys.

I did a quick calculation of expected use using the average rotation. Note: this is doing it for an entire account (all 20 characters) at max level.

Note 2: This does not account for hirelings.

Okay, thanks for pointing out that rewards for a daily crafting writ are on-par with the other crafts. So, then it most really be the missing hireling that causes the jewelry supply to drain while the other crafts' supply slowly grows.
