Chat window text disappears on chat window unfocus

Starting with Update 44, myself and many have noticed this very annoying chat bug: Enter some text then click off the window, which makes it clear the buffer. For RPers, this is very annoying and people can lose whole paragraphs or sentences of typed text if they end up clicking so they can pan the camera or turn their character.
