Brutality from skeletal archer feels bad

too keep 100% uptime on brutality from only skeletal archer you have to recast early resulting in missing the last hit as timer reaches 0 which deals the most damage at 150% base damage if all previous shots hit, so its either loose brutality uptime to make the most of archer or loos archer value and recast before last hit

    Actually, the last hit almost never inherits the damage scaling anyways unless the Archer is right on top of the target. The projectile of the last hit usually lands after the Archer has despawned, which resets the scaling, so typically the last hit doesn't actually deal the max damage.

    However I agree that it's just not a good ability in most scenarios. It boggles my mind that they nerfed this skill back with the DoT nerfs despite all its quirks and the fact that it doesn't count as DoT damage or proc sets.

    Edit: I probably shouldn't say "almost never", as from the testing I did a patch or two ago, it was closer to 50/50. Still very frustrating.

    I didn't even notice that, good catch.

    Also yeah that blew my mind too, the damage before the nerf should have been buffed and now it's just even worse. I use Scribing, weapon or guild abilities before I slot Skeletal.
