BG problems or how to tighten the rules for normal play

It should be forbidden for players to deal damage from the spawn, make it a safe zone where you can't take damage or deal damage. The second option is that if they start dealing damage from the spawn, they are automatically moved down. Such a flaw I resent. In fact, it causes imbalance and makes such players immortal, because they can go behind the barrier to heal and continue to make 0 benefit to their team. I think we should give such players a penalty or a fine, for example: kick them out of the match after 30 seconds if they stand on the spawn and continue to do damage and 2x penalty for spoiling the gameplay. This is especially true when Deathmatch mode is on and the opposing group is standing on a spavn and trying to kill someone from the spavn. This causes an imbalance. There should be a rule: either you participate or you don't go to BG. BG is pvp, and pvp is not a mode for casuals. Such players just stretch the match and bring 0 value to their group.

When they said there would be a mechanic that would force people out of spawn, I was pleasantly surprised.

Then I found out the mechanic was 2 freaking minutes long.

That's absurd. 10 seconds is more than enough. It's not like you can do anything else in spawn. You can't even change skills or gear because the arenas are so small that you're in combat from start to finish anyway.

If enemies can damage from spawn it becomes part of the battleground and enemies should be able to access those areas. Same goes for IC platforms. It wouldn't be so bad if ranged damage was actually balanced but it is decidedly not.

Exactly. 2 minutes is too long.

Rounds and lives are the problem. The timer wouldn't even need to exist if each side was at full strength for the entire fight. Timer was a band aid fix to a problem they recognized after they already invested in this for.at. fix the problem not the sympto... remove rounds and lives and the problem with people not dropping will largely go away

Then we will just be left with lopsided bgs but that cannot be fixed with this new format imho. So some people might still choose to not drop... funny how we never had this problem in three team format...

They need to do something about spawn farming. Its not only an issue for players to kill from spawn, but being KILLED on spawn.

It is unfair for people to be taking damage from a team with no chance to recover because they're lurking right down below you, or across the arena, long ranging you from a vantage point. Dropping out of stealth when you leave was also a stupid design choice, giving you no opportunity to sneak out.
