Do leveling up the CP gives you more health/stam/mag?

I saw a comment in reddit that stated that some guys only wanted High CP(2k+) people in their dungeon runs because they had bigger stats

I have googled it and there are some sources that mention that every time you get CP your stats increase according to the color of it, but I checked, I usually don't add more points until I have 10+/- from each and I did not see the stats increase at all

Adding CP doesn't directly improve stats.

But there are many passive nodes that provide extra stats without needing to be slotted on the bar. This is on top of the various slotted nodes that provide significant boosts.

This used to be how it worked, but it was changed the last time the champion system was overhauled. This is why you might find old sources that say adding cp increases stats.

Up to a certain point additional CP only make your life a little more convenient, since you don't have to respec everytime and can just use the fully speced out perks. But at 1200-1300 for example you have all passives in all trees and a good portion left to place wherever. So for whatever your build is, you are at 100% performance from CP points.

PvP levels at least give you some rewards but the PvE champion points feel like an incomplete system.

Zos should add some rewards for leveling.

They do. The rewards are called Champion Points.

Yeah, when I first saw that(1330 atm) I was like "Whaaaaat? Then what is the point? You don't "add" more power as you level up... But seeing what you said makes sense, you just hot swap stuff instead of respecing
