The 4v4 Solo get big problem regarding team balance.

Get 5 round in a row, 2 4v4 Solo and 2 8v8 solo direct close due to not enough player,

First. the solo is random team, it easy end at 1 team get much better player and overhelming oppsite side.. it totally no fun for weaker team, frustrated.. Round setting for solo deathmatch make no sense, it shall classic deathmatch as 8V8, since it too easy to get 1 team overwhelming another, it trash time start from round 1

Second, it too easy to get senario that not enough player, and BG closed before game start, get 3 round in a row and 2 round not able to get enough player

Third. there bigest problem for 4v4 death match, the dead player will consider AFK and been kick out , then get debuff of desert if the alive teammate still stand keep for a long while...

    It’s quite easy to grasp.
    Less player = your performance matters more
    Less teams = also less potential to blend players above or below in as well and less ways to get the focus off of you. „Less stressfull gameplay“ - as the devs foresaw

    What did you expect?
    Just wait till you steamroll or get steamrolled by a Train in 8v8, or lil cyro, as it seams.

    Luck weight too much on solo 4v4, especially a deathmatch...

    It has though... I think. All I see now in bgs are my guildies in my bg guild. Either this is because everyone else has already tried this new format and noped out or because mmr is in place. Half my guildies have noped out so this may be the case.

    Either way, I can attest to the fact that these bgs filled with high mmr players are still incredibly lopsided, NOT FUN, and turning about 98% of my guildies off to bgs.

    Most of us think zos made a huge blunder here and we are all waiting with bated breath for them to revert to 3 way bgs.

    We gave zos this feedback literally on day one of the patch notes and all they said was, we've got a solution for that with the new mmr. We then told them this wouldn't work. They didn't listen... here we are...

    i think they were expecting the more sweaty players to go join the 4v4 matches, not necessarily the 8v8 matches

    that and the BG population wasnt super huge either

    MMR works if you say have 10000 players regularly playing, it will smooth out over time, if theres say 200 people doing BGs regularly right now, im not sure if thats enough population to actually smooth out the MMR, when an 8v8 needs 16 of those 200 players

    leaderboards are only for 4v4 so theres no real way to tell how many total players are participating in the 8v8s

    Hmm… starting to think they should rotate the available Game Mode (4v4v4 / 4v4 / 8v8) from week to week if non is well designed and the population is too small anyways

    The teams not filling has nothing to do with there not being enough players in queue, it's a bug and is getting patched today.
