8v8 crashing then labelled "deserter"

Twice in a row 8v8 crashed my system. Each time when I logged back in I was kicked out of the BG and labelled a "deserter" . Can't ZOS game recognize a crash?

4 GOs, and bunches of prefects etc-- all classes...I've wasted a lot of time in PVP over the last 8 years
