• NA megaservers for maintenance – January 8, 4:00AM EST (9:00 UTC) - 8:00AM EST (13:00 UTC)
• EU megaservers for maintenance – January 8, 9:00 UTC (4:00AM EST) - 13:00 UTC (8:00AM EST)
I thought 8v8 would've been a good idea, but it's absolutely not. Maybe it's because everybody has been reset to 0 MMR, but a lot of these 8v8 matches are terribly one sided, even some 4v4s. Whether it's crazy king, chaos ball, or domination, it just takes a few people to push at the start to gain complete dominance of the map making it impossible for the other team to recover, and then the match is over after 3-4 minutes. At least when there were 3 teams, it allowed for a wild card to completely change the tide. The amount of players need to be reduced. 6v6 may still be way to many. The maps are too small to handle 2 teams. The score also needs to go up much slower to prevent 1 team from ending the match too quickly.

that was to be expected coming from a 3 party battle to one with only 2 opponents - you are either the winner or the looser. much of the dynamic it had before is lost that way.
I remember well how different it felt when I joined the first ESO BG compared to WoW I was coming from.
