Useless loot

I got more useful loot from regular bosses in dungeons and open dungeons than from this Jack, for which you need to forgive 100500 crashes due to ancient servers that can't handle so many players in one location, find a group and suffer from a crooked boss performance, where he runs to the player at the other end of the arena in a second and instantly kills him, no matter whether he's crouched or not.

Ya gotta shoo the crows away cuz they can see you even when you're crouched. And they work for the boss.

I didn't get anything from that Jack. Just rubbish. I didn't get the new Style page from any of the Plunder I got during the day. Another event where the main reward is not guaranteed

The servers are fine and the game is the best on the market. ESO is life. Yesterday tons of people in the witches cavern and no crashes.

not as good as previous years.

no Hollowjack motifs as far as I can see.

plunder skull used to have occasional good stuff, but I get nothing but junk not even worth using as furniture.

Tried twice to do Jack. Died many times to people not understanding crouching and the numerous times it didn't work. Not even 24 hours into this event and I have quit doing it. A record even for me.

Yeah, I'm a NB and even using cloak didn't seem to help. I get this it's like the Indrik in MOS, but it just doesn't work as well...

Don't move around unnecessarily if you don't need to as sneaking drains your stamina, the glowing crows will drain your stamina as well so if you just leave them on the field.. you will run out. Simply sit still spread out and scare them as needed to slow it down long enough for him to go back into the battle phase. That's all there is to do.

Solo'd this fight on the second try as a magsorc with no stamina regen and maybe a crown tri-potion or two to keep the stamina from depleting.

Oooohhh. That's what was draining stamina! Thank you. I realized the scarecrows were draining magicka, the the stamina drain was confounding.

I actually duod the boss the first time with a guildie who is a very good player, but it was rough. But in a larger group, if you are not keeping up with the crouching mechanic, it gets hairy really fast.

They drop when completing witch orders.
