i know I've seen people say they want more spontaneous events and for them to feel special so this might be an answer to those requests.
i do love it even with it not being weekly or even monthly.
on pts the 2 Golden Pursuits campaigns i saw gave away 5 crates each and a mount/costume at the end.
The last campaign i saw on pts also had 60k gold

That looks to be exactly the same thing as daily endeavors, just with higher values to gain completion. So what's new with this system again?

I mean the game has a motto of "play as you want", but this current endeavour system & now this it just seem like it is slowly becoming: "play as you want, buuuut...."

I want to log in and just run some Battlegrounds, or Dungeons, or play through Quests, and then log off for the day. I feel like I’m missing out on a ton of stuff if I’m not doing these things which have such obviously enormous payout once per day. There are just SO many daily sources of things to collect now:
• Most valuable Coffer-based rewards are limited to one per day per type of coffer. You can earn multiple each day, but must log daily to open them for their big rewards
• Hirelings can be earned on all characters, but you must individually log to each character to collect mats each day
• Seals of Endeavor directly incentivize daily/weekly completion of random tasks you might not have planned to do
• Golden pursuits are pretty much the same thing as Seals of Endeavor except maybe better rewards
• Not even going to discuss the huge time investment of Daily Writs for players who still do those
Also I’d like for my Gold, Materials, Cosmetics, and everything else to come from their correct sources instead of random stuff. A good example is Dragon Rheum: I killed hundreds of dragons in the Elsweyr zones to get not even a stack of Rheum over the time I’ve played ESO, and yet have earned nearly 1K Dragon Rheum from anniversary event boxes? I’d much rather Dragons just drop far larger quantities of the material.
I’m glad for people that like this sort of thing and are excited for next patch. Most likely I’m just not the target audience here, I value my time too much and would much rather do fun things/actual content when I log to earn enormous value for myself, instead of a daily assortment of farming tasks before playing the actual game.

I also used to be religious about doing the daily and weekly endeavors.
Then I accidentally didn't do a third endeavor on one server, and deliberately skipped one on the other server to keep my totals equal on both servers. Then I accidentally missed an entire day on a server. Then there were a couple of times when I missed multiple days on both servers due to an internet outage or a power outage. I even missed doing the weekly endeavor on one server. And there have occasionally been times when none of the options for a third endeavor were activities that I considered "doable" on my characters.
My total Seals of Endeavor are currently more than enough to buy an apex mount, or whatever the next-to-the-top category is, but so far none of them have been anything that I really wanted. (The "disco horse"-- I mean, Varen's Legacy or whatever it was called-- looked potentially fun, and the "glitter and flowers senche-raht" also looked potentially fun, but I'm more into the less showy mounts; even my current mount and dog are a bit "froo-froo" and took some warming up to.)
Once you accidentally miss a few endeavors, or are forced to miss them due to circumstances beyond your control, it's easier to take a more relaxed attitude toward them. I still enjoy using the endeavors as an excuse to choose to do certain content that I enjoy doing but haven't done in a while, but I'm not going to get bent out of shape if three of the five endeavors are for activities I'm really not interested in or that I feel are too difficult for me.

Endeavors 2.0 (just more grindy)
