This is seriously much needed. I want a big dirt floor furnishing. Huge.
Little suggestion for those who might like it: flipping the clockwork junk piles upside down kind of make a decent dirt. Can get the smaller ones from the furniture vendor in Clockwork City, bigger one is crowns only (not nearly as big as my desired dirt floor, not even close, but it's something).
Grass and dirt, or even empty planters with soil, have been part of the housing communities wishlist since the feature was introduced. The fact we've had the barest scraps since then is baffling. I remember when the elsweyr rings were added, it was a big deal having more or less plain dirt for the first time.

I have found the Sawdust Pile, Logging to be a very nice soil replacement, especially in situations where a lighter soil is ok.
I just tried it as a sandy area for the Meditation Rings to sit on, not sure if it works with them .....
I also wish we had a similar grassy area available, although to change it up from using overgrown hedges, Flowers, Dibella's Tears work nicely and are pretty too!
The biggest issue with those are they aren't that big so can eat space fast
If your build is autumnal then the Leaf Pile, Autumnal is great for floor cover, it works ok flipped over too! Although beware of Bunny's burying you and then sitting on your head!!
When people say to me........
"You're going to regret that in the morning"
