All the alliance war AP furnishings were retroactively made BoP with those left on the guild traders either binding to the purchaser or binding to the seller once they expired. That happened within a couple weeks of housing being added.

That was to fix the mistake of them being tradable. Same thing happened with the Jubilee cake slices this past year--you may be able to find some sales data for them, but there aren't any that can still be traded.

Not sure what the deal is with the dendritic hist bulb, but I've had guildies have customer support ticket resolutions sometimes mistakenly granting the tradable version of an otherwise BoP-only furnishing. It would be impossible to know how many of these oddities there are floating about.

That's an important point. For example, I know of one player who somehow received from customer support the ability to use certain emotes which are normally only able to be used when equipping a certain polymorph. It's weird, but they showed it off.

There is too a difference between rare items that were at one point available to all players and more circumstantial collectibles/items. Trueflame is a cool item that everyone who played at the time could have gotten. As far as we know, there is only one Belle the dog. There may still be codes that can be accessed for the Symbiote Studios Scrib Pet. That is sort of different from people who may have the Frisky Scrib due to console transfer.

I'll throw my hat in the ring with the below types of items that I'm looking for. I'd like a sword and shield.



These saw wide distribution, but good luck finding people who kept them! And they are cool too for their unique appearance.

Not 100% impossible. I have a list of 27000 items which were sold on TTC, all of usually bound items which exist in this list were atleast once sold unbound. Impossible to know if that got fixed tho ofc.

I think the vast majority of these one-off mistake items wouldn't ever make it on the guild traders since the ticket submitter presumably wanted the item for themselves. They may change their mind years down the road and make weird stuff available.

The only thing from the distant past that I miss, because it was a fashion item, is the Encasement of Anguish. It dropped from those Mazken sisters dolmen bosses in Deshaan.



And it could be dyed.



Had it on both servers - EU and NA. And it was abruptly removed from the game. 🥺

I have no idea why. It can't be because it was immodest, though some considered it so then. But it looks positively prim compared to the latest gem costume.

All of the special Dolmen items stopped dropping. They were available for a long time up to v12 ranks. Then eventually they started only dropping from Dolmens in Cyrodiil at the v16 ranks. Then, finally, they stopped being available all together.

It's really a shame since so many of those items were cool and unique looking. I'm lucky to have the vast majority of them, but destroyed some special ones due to inventory issues back in the day; I lost the Staff of Nomeg Haga, Staff of Zymel Hriz, the Bestial Rampart, and the Lich Items...

Additionally, I believe that the rare 3-piece sets from vet dungeons, such as the Thorns set, were removed around the same time...

Also does anyone knows something specific about these items? The seem to be much harder to find than other old ingredients. Did they only drop in IC or something?

That's weird how it was removed from you. I still have mine in the bank. Maybe it's because I actually upgraded or modified it? it's locked so I never get rid of it:



On a side note, I do have Lire and Jaedi runes, but sadly I'm on NA and not EU.

Ah shoot, how unfortunate Searching for that one aswell. I have the greymoor tutorial one but the elsweyr one might be rarer as its BOP and the one from greymoor is not.
