Kingmaker's Trove Lead.

Hi, I was working at Antiquities in Glenumbra today and would like to share my experience over Kingmaker's Trove Lead.
This Lead can be obtained from Treasure chests in Glenumbra zone (the ones that spawn on the map, not Treasure maps).
I got my first Lead somewhere in the past and today I wanted to do 2/3 lore and 3/3. Since one Lead for Ring of the Pale Order drop from a random mob in Bad Man's Hallows PD so I decided to go there and work on 2 Leads at the same time. (kill mobs and open chests)
I planned "my" route and hoped for the best.

I had already dug the Ring once, so I also went for 2/3 and 3/3 lore, after about 30 chests (about 1h total) I got the Lead for 2/3 Kingmaker's Trove, went out of PD and dug the Lead. Then I came back and a little while later (about 15 mobs) I got the Lead for the ring. I went to finish the remaining Leads for the ring and then came back to the PD in a good mood to finish a 3/3 ring and a 3/3 Kingmaker's Trove.
I ran "my route" for about an hour and dropped the Lead for the ring (I'm thinking great, now finish the one from the Treasure chest), I continued running my route, the mobs I killed along the way I didn't even loot it and just quickly kill and looked at the spawn locations of the chests.

And the time went on and on and on, the open chests increased and Lead was nowhere to be found...
When I came here to do the 3/3 lore I had a 400 lockpick and I have a 4/4 in Legerdemain's Locksmith passive and I open every chest with force lock.
For this last 3/3 lore I spent 5 hours here. 5 hours of running around and opening chests before Lead finally dropped. I have 150 free spaces in my inventory and in total in these 5 hours I had to clean (with the help of assistants, so I didn't leave the PD) my inventory 3 times, which means around 450 pieces of random loot from the chests I loot. Then I looked at the remaining lockpicks and out of the 400 I had at the beginning I had 150 left...
I didn't count how many chests I opened in total but there were a lot of them, luckily I didn't meet many people and even the couple that I met so often didn't care about the chests so this helped me too..
So I got the Lead for 3/3 lore after 5 hours of running marathon and opening chests...

What am I trying to say? Why am I writing this? Well, I want to mention again how bad the RNG in this game is. Meanwhile, what for 2/3 lore the same Lead dropped from about 30 chests so for 3/3 it is needed 5 times as much?
And just look at other threads, people have similar experiences with Leads everywhere. I don't know how much ZOS cares about any feedback here or if they even care about any, but I just don't see anything fun about letting players farm for 5 hours running around and opening chests to drop one Lead.

I would like to see the man behind this RNG system at Leads, if he has any idea what the reality is and I would like him to try what he has created and then share his point of view.
So I wish good luck to other people in the Leads hunt and I hope for some RNG adjustment for Leads from ZOS... (although it's probably better to be more realistic, right?...)

TLDR: You spent several hours farming treasure chests and mobs in Glenumbra to complete the Kingmaker’s Trove and Ring of the Pale Order Leads in ESO, with the final Lead taking five hours of chest farming to drop. The RNG system felt frustratingly inconsistent, as earlier Leads dropped much quicker while the final one required far more time and effort. You’re hoping for adjustments to the RNG mechanics, but you’re doubtful the developers will address this issue.

Well, if you think this was fun, just wait till you go after those treasure map leads!

You got the leads for the ring in a very short amount of time.

Personally, I would have left Bad Man's Hollow at that point and looked for chests in the world, as there are quite a few in Glenumbra.

If you are going to purposefully farm leads, you are going to have some that you get very easily, and some who are going to be annoying.

Farming so hard is boring. I don't enjoy it either. It's not fun or relaxing or engaging for me, it's just discouraging me from caring about parts of eso, which encourages me to stop caring about the game in it's entirety.

Well I have finished (3/3) all the furniture from the Treasure maps in the West Weald. And it took a lot of maps and cost me a lot of gold. (I bought most of it before the event, unfortunately)

Yeah, I was thinking about trying a different location too. But I thought I'd try PD today and if Lead doesn't drop I'll go somewhere else the next day. Luckily, Lead drop...

Yes some Leads player practically "one shot" and some just can't drop. That's what I'm writing about RNG is bad coding in ESO.(or however you want to describe it...)
I'm not against RNG but it should have some limits where the player is guaranteed to get a Lead.

That's right, I totally agree. Like I understand that ZOS doesn't want the player to get everything right away (I don't want that either), but this endless farm of something is wrong for me.
